Great to add fiber and nutrition to horse rations!
We've been using 1/2-3/4 cup, twice a day to our horses pellets, to add fiber and help balance out blood sugars in our horses. We wet our food down in the winter with hot water and the bran helps hold water and prevent colic too. Horses like it and we are seeing improvement in our senior horses. Note: we also add 2 T, twice a day of pure Oat Fiber, and 1/2 Cup of Chia Seeds, twice a day.

Course is relatively fine.
I opened the bag to discover that the grain was rather fine compared to what I thought was course. Perhaps it's a misunderstanding on my part, but it's going to be difficult work with either way.
