Product Description Review: Well worth the price. - No dislikes at all. After looking at the box store tables, I figured they would not last more than a year or two with their cheesy materials. Went with the Pilot Rock, and glad I did. Frame is sturdy and should last a long time. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. I used 2x12 lumber for the seats. Drilled all lumber on a drill press, and all went together without a problem. Finished with 3 coats of spar varnish; almost to pretty to use. If you want a quality table and are willing to spend the time to do it right, I highly recommend the Pilot Rock. Review: Heavy duty - Easy to assemble and very heavy duty. It is worth the price

Well built
I had a similar table that was over 30 year old and the tubing was rusted, but the wood was in good shape. Assembly was easy, I drilled new holes, and assemembled it one side at at time and then unbolted the old table. The bolts for the old table were counter sunk, filled in and painted over. So i cut them off on the under side and painted over. This table is much sturdier than the old one. Itโs galveized and will last for years. Weather re-building an old table or building a new one, this is a great table kit

These are a very sturdy and good product.
I have bought 6 of these for our church and each one came with adequate instructions and easy enough to put together. We bought pressure treated 2X10s to put them together and keep them inside a pavilion. So far they are still looking like new.

excellent quality!
This was an excellent purchase. My sister who is 70 was able to put this together with me. It took us a few hours over 2 days but that is because we both needed a lot of breaks! This is heavy metal. All pieces were packed in the box and I now have a table that all my neighbors want to borrow. Wood is a bit pricey right now but I was able to reuse the 2 X 6 boards from my old table (the old frame was rusted out and bent) and I think this frame will last for the remainder of my lifetime! I am a very heavy person and this frame allowed me to push the seat boards back to make room to sit comfortably at a very sturdy and solid table. AND, it is made in the USA!

An Economical Option for a Backyard Picnic Table
This is a very solid product. The steel is thick, and the hardware does a good job of making the table sturdy. I also like the step-through design for the benches, which I imagine would come in handy for someone with mobility issues. One suggestion for assembly: Because the boards you use are thick, it's important to make sure your bolt holes are perpendicular. I didn't do a good job of this and almost couldn't line up a couple of bolts. After the fact, I found the Milescraft DrillBlock on Amazon, a jig that helps keep your drill bit aligned.

Great frame made a perfect table
Extremely easy to build out. I did it myself in about an hour after buying the wood but would recommend help flipping it over, especially if using treated wood. I used 3 8 foot 2x10's treated wood for the top and 2 8 foot 2x12's for the seating, also treated wood. Then used a good outdoor poly finish once the wood dried after several weeks. Drilled a hole in the center for an umbrella and it's perfect for family gatherings out back for meals or hanging out! The base is very solid and I like that you can scoot in and out without having the frame in the way of your legs. Pay close attention to the directions when torquing down the nuts so you don't pull the bolt heads into the wood and cause cracking/splinters. They don't have to be super tight.

Sturdy
The table went together super easy and it's very sturdy. I was very surprised the steel was so thick. I made mine 8' and according to my math it weighs around 280 lbs. Not bad to move around with a partner. I prefer it to be heavy because things get stolen from my yard often. The only issue I had with the table was one of the legs wasn't stamped from the factory. Customer service responded very quickly and sent out a new one. Fedex took their sweet time delivering it and that was kind of frustrating. It shipped from Iowa to Iowa but took 6 days somehow. One minor gripe would be with the hardware. The two long bolts were a little short. Also the two screws were too long and would have punctured through the table top. I caught it early and used some washers. 4 stars for having to wait. The table laid in my driveway for about 10 days because the factory screwed up.
