AC Infinity, Aluminum Ventilation Grille for Cabinets, Black 6”

I bought this for my daughter’s new computer, there was a fan the wires would brush up against. It fit the look of the computer and tied into the overall look we were going for. The only issue is the mounting holes, they are larger than the standard fan mounting screw heads. Some black oxide washers bought from the local hardware store fixed the problem and are not even noticeable (clear sided case).

I bought a couple of these to build a two-way radio stand that included a fan. It allows the radio to sit up off the desk with enough room for a fan under to to blow on the heatsink of the radio. It worked just as expected. It seemed to be well built and strong enough to actually be a structural part of the stand itself. It included all of the necessary hardware. It's been a while, but I think it actually contained two sets of the necessary screws rather than just one, which was nice. If I ever decide to built anything else that needs a fan mounted to a surface, I would not hesitate to buy these again.

It works as intended. I cut a 5 inch hole in the side of my computer desk. These center on the holes pretty easily. The screws are self tapping, so they install pretty easily. The grate also comes with fan grates and extra hardware if you plan on using them as an active cooling option. I chose passive and left the attached grate.

Got two of these for the amps in my car. They live under the false floor where things can get toasty fast. Before using these to mount 2 120mm fans (intake and exhaust) the amps were getting extremely hot to the point where I could not keep my hand on them for more than 1 second. After using these with the fans, the amps just get warm even after an hour of play time. I used these in conjunction with two Corsair ML120 Pro fans for their super quiet operation even at full tilt. Connected pos and neg together on both fans and ran that into a single pigtail connector (for easy removal of necessary), which ran into the relay used to provide a switched 12v signal for the amps and dsp's. Fit and finish of these grills are on point. They look sleek and yet are very sturdy for a great price. They come with lots of screws for different applications. Will use these again in future builds!

Great unit. Of course my little fans came with a fan blade cover. Go figure. But this will fully encase the fan. I will use this as it is a cleaner look.

To be honest, I was actually blown away at the quality of the packaging. I was expecting something cheap and from china but was very much surprised to find a quality product in a nice package. This is a finely machined piece of brushed black metal that comes with all the hardware you need to attach it to most places and includes the nice fan grill on the back. I needed another input of fresh air to cool down my power hungry FX8350 and the VRM's running it. The only place to put another fan in my case was on the clear plastic on the "pretty side" and I did not want some cheap funky piece of plastic taking that space. This grill wins first prize. It allows just enough light from the fan to come back out of the case but keeps it safe from my cat's prying paws : ) High quality hardware and the grill make it a awesome deal for the money. You will not go wrong with this purchase.

I purchased the cover and the USB 120 mm fan. It's has three adjustable speed settings including an offsetting. I was constructing a built-in for my TV, electric fireplace and hiding all the cable and Wi-Fi components up inside the built-in wall. I wanted a fan to vent out any possible hot air build up out of the top near the ceiling. The cover plate gives you plenty of room to cut out a hole for the fan and then install the plate and fan from the outside of the unit. I dropped the USB cable down and plugged it into the back of the tv. Now when the TV turns on the fan runs. I set the fan to the low speed setting. That setting pushes plenty of air and makes almost no noise even when holding in your hand. After the installation, I can not hear the fan at all. Very happy with this product. It is Doing exactly what I wanted it to do.

Plain-ish, brushed aluminium, black works as advertised. The 'mesh' is a little rough in a couple of places where it was "stamped and formed" but all in all good. For me, in my home theater, it was a good fit. I really appreciated the fan grill and extra nuts/bolts ... pushed it to 5 stars. Well done! Be aware, this is a nice looking, functional piece of kit; however, I would not call it elegant. i.e. if I installed it in a visible place in the living room, my wife would have a few words for me.

Got this for mount my 120mm pc fan. Came on time and everything was as excepted. The mesh was a little rough in some places and I cut my finger on one of the rough edges. Other than that, it fitted my 120 mm fan perfectly and easy to install.
