So useful, makes cleaning easier

Finally, a product that can be used on our glass 5-gallon water jugs or carboys. Unfortunately, with the clear glass, we struggle with algae growth, and this is the only thing that cleans the tapered neck of the bottle.

I had one of these carboy cleaners that I got from another homebrewer and found it pretty handy, but unfortunately the wipers wore out, so I discarded it. Found out replacements were available but it was too late. The only Issue I have is that with older glass carboys, the fit through the neck can be a little tight, but on newer carboys and corny kegs this brush makes quick work out of cleaning the nasties left over from fermentation.

This dose a great job of cleaning the inside of the carboy. It scrubbed the residue off of some used car boys that I bought from someone. It did a fantastic job and got them very clean.

Doesn’t work as well as advertised. Brushes clump together and the metal rod can scratch your glass. Only worked with my 6 gallon carboy, couldn’t fit into a 5 gallon one. Please redesign because it’s a good concept.

Saw a YouTube video of them using this to clean the hard to reach areas inside a carboy. Giving it 3 stars because it doesn't fit a 1gal carboy. I had to warm it up with hot water and "bend" the flaps (it has some sort of plastic inside to retain shape) when inserting, you have to go at an angle to fit the bolt and nut, overall its tricky. Removal is a PITA as all the stars need to align and the flaps as well for it to come out.

Used this to clean 18 carboys and it never failed. I just wish I would have found it sooner.

The cleaning apparatus is pretty easy and straightforward to use. The only thing you have to watch is the alignment of the cleaning arms, they need to be extended opposite each other. If they end up on the same side, it causes a serious vibration. Within seconds of use my carboy looks like new. I would definitely recommend.
