You may want to use this for an exhaust from a furnace flue to insulate the high temps (in excess of 200 degrees F.) from other parts of the furnace or structural components of a building.

Okay to wrap around a single walled stovepipe using duct tape?

the kaowool is good to 2200 degrees direct flame and 2400 intermittent it will melt at 3200 degrees I definitely would not use duct tape to wrap it you can get the metal fireproof type tape at home depot and use that I would take a temperature check of the single wall pipe at operating temperature before I began
