Guys, a fuse is for over current protection. If the M shorts and draws more current than the fuse is rated for then the fuse blows heads. It’s a fuse, not a resistor. We’re talking about amplifiers, and what they do is amplify the 12 VDC input into a higher VAC signal. this is because we use transformers that operate on the principle of mutual induction. A magnetic field is turned on and off rapidly to induce a higher voltage based on the principle of mutual duction, which in turn, creates an AC voltage because it is fly back. The way you control the amplifier output is through the resistance or impedance you place on the speaker channel. A fuse by design has an amperage rating when there is a short amperage rises infinitely so if use is rated for 200 A if 201 A go through that fuse because there is a short to ground, the fuse will blow to protect the component. Can I hook this up to a 3000 watt power drive inverter in my semi truck?

Depends on how far your inverter is from your power source.. this is a zero gauge rated cable... im pushing a full 200 amp light system with mine with no issues.. hope it helps

this kit has good quality cables but mine did not come with the correct number of crimp terminals, but it took me to long to muster up the motivation to install so I feel it's probably to late to ask them to send me the correct number and type.

I wouldn’t recommend

First photo you can see these are not copper OFC cables as for being 0gauge it’s 2/3 mm off 0gauge. 2nd photo this one 5mm copper cable weigh more than the whole package sent. No ends of the cable have been crimped like the photo suggest. Not happy

Kit worked well. Cable length was as listed and quality was there. Can't complain with the competitive price point. Colored cabling makes it easy to identify once installed

This is by far the best 0 gauge wiring kit for the price. Only 17ft power wire so not enough for large vehicles but would be great for smaller cars and ext cab trucks. I have a 2000 eclipse and actually ordered another kit after seeing this in person to replace that run as I need 15 ft to reach the rear battery. I actually cut this kit up to do the big 3 upgrade and it works and looks great have 7-10 ft left. The wire IS NOT 0 AWG wire but the CCA wire underneath the insulation is almost the same size as the 0gauge ring terminals you find in audio shops and here on Amazon so its pretty close. Should be capable of 250-300amp draw. When I upgrade my amp I will update if any problems arise

I give 4 out of 5 star because it's not true size and product title was a little misleading . Its European measurements or something . All in , I installed everything that I needed . It Produces great power to my amp battery and dual amp setup . You can see the difference from the 8 gauge I was using . The connectors were just a tad too loose after prepping cable . I had to smash them down really hard and then electrical tape wrap them . There was plenty of line to run from front of saturn to hatch installed underneath vehicle. The 200 fuse is a bit too much for my 1000 watt rms . I replaced with 100 fuse. Kit needed 3 more female connectors to actually complete my setup. Good kit for the folks just starting out and wanting to save some cash.
