Heat with wood? - buy these!
TL;DR: These actually dissipate heat when in direct contact with heat sources and they hold up great for a sub $20 pair of gloves. I bought a pair a last year and used them multiple times a day all winter (northern Vermont). I can work the coals until ready to reload the stove and not get burned. The length is nice. The quality is great. The leather doesn’t scorch badly and shrivel. These were unavailable when it came time to replace. (The stitching failed on one of them between the thumb and index finger). I’ve tried six other pair that claimed to be similarly rated. No we’re close to these. I don’t typically take the time to write reviews. However, I want these gloves to remain available so here I am. Try these if you need hot contact gloves. When I saw them available again today I bought three pairs. Cheers

Good gloves, nice fit and work!
They fit well, I did not feel any heat when I reached up to remove a blade from a 1800f kiln and they work. I'd say for heat resistant gloves, that's all the marks.

Good product
I would’ve given it a five stars, except for the fact that I set it on the stove, and it actually started to burn that could’ve been my fault … not sure you should let it cook on the wood burner stove … so it might be a five star. Works well in the turning of logs dealing with maneuvering logs right in the firebox itself. Worth the money good purchase. Recommended.

👍👍👍God Damn Its Great👍👍👍
I work at a casting company (Metal Foundry) and we have problems with gloves not lasting long or being not enough protection from the heat the furnace puts out. So I said screw it after seeing these and bought them with my own money to try and DAMN THESE ARE FRIGGIN GREAT!!!!!!!!! There are NO heat issues with these guys! You can actually move in these & have no dexterity issues unlike other items that are so stiff you cannot function while wearing them. I've been using them for a month or so as of now, 10hrs a day 4 days a week and no problems or sign of tear/holes anywhere. Also the Temps I work with can be anywhere from 1100°f - 2800°f (lowest-highest temp). I'm talking to the business owners about starting to order these instead of the gloves we are using now. If I had to compare I would have went through 3-4 pairs of the gloves my company gets compared to the 1 pair which are these. DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY SINGLE RED CENT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the best cheap gloves you can find!
The comfort is what you’d expect, but “warmth” obviously is not what you want. Welding with these has been nice. No holes burned through yet even with picking up hot metals. The thickness is nice so I can still have enough flexibility to adjust my torch and welding settings but have enough protection that my hands are yet to burn, with them on that is. I’ve been working with them for about 5 months and they still are going strong. Update: 2 years later and I’ve realized it finally time to retire them. Tons of holes and I’ve burned through in multiple spots. I’ve also gotten a second pair of gloves for welding that offers more dexterity. However I see myself ordering another pair of these gloves for when I’m doing hotter and more dangerous metalworking.

Work great for doing my fire..
I bought these to use when I gotta check my fire. I use a potbelly stove and these make everything easier from opening the door to carrying the kettle to adjusting the logs. I've put them to the test so far and they've proven to be the best addition to my stove supply list so far. I'm a girl so gloves like this usually don't fit real great and until they're broken in close to the point of being worn out they're generally tough to manipulate. These are the first pair I've ever used that have all the protection I'm looking for without to stiff ridgid mobility issues I'm not. I've only had mine about a month now but even after using them to pull a log out of a well established fire they aren't showing any signs that indicate to me they're going to be a problem. I'm highly impressed so far with how well they seem to perform and hold up and really everything about them. Well worth the price.

Excellent product at a reasonable price
This is my second purchase of Cuwiny welding gloves (. I finally found a brand that is tough, durable, and comfortable enough for the heavy yard work I do regularly. The stitching holds up well, and the liners stay put when I remove my sweaty hands from the gloves. Most important, the gloves put a strong protective barrier between my hands and the environment.
