Not bad! Very sturdy and holding up well.
I've used them for about 8 hours of throwing into plywood and they're holding up great. No bent or broken tips. These are an awesome value for people like me who just want to try out the sport and see what it's like. Great for parties too. The only negative is that the handles have sharp edges from stamping them out in production. I would definitely recommend sanding the handles edges with some 150 to 220 grit sandpaper. Or use a file.

Affordable Practice Starter Kit
Nicely sized for short to mid-range throwing. The knives are balanced and simple with good sticking power despite a lack of weight. An excellent starter set if you are just looking for quantity over expensive quality knives to get in tons of practice. I've found that throwing against harder surfaces (wood as opposed to cardboard) tends to bend the tips, so if you plan to do a lot of throwing against solid wood boards, you'll want a good hammer and something hard and flat (stone or metal bar) to straighten any bent points when you finish. The cord has unraveled from all the knives so I just removed it completely. 1 year Update: I am updating this review as I've had these knives for over a year and they remain quite handy. I've lost a couple since I got the set, but none of the knives has broken despite my heavy use. When I first got these I spent about three months doing heavy throwing primarily against boxes stuffed with old magazines, which makes for an excellent stick and prevents the tips from bending. So a year later, I definitely still recommend these as a starter kit.

A Whole Bunch of Fun!
Yes, the other reviews were mostly quite accurate in regards to these knives. They do bend easily, are quite light and the cord breaks and unravels quite easily. However, on the other hand these knives are a lot of fun!! My son and I spend hours throwing these knives at targets and they do stick quite nicely. We haven't had any tips break or any thing like that. My son is just learning to throw and these work great for that. They are fairly well balanced with a great point. Because of the light weight, they are best suited for close range throwing. When the tips do bend, we just carefully bend them back. So for us, the bottom line is to know your knife and the limits of it capabilities. This is a fun, kick-around, no worries set of knives, great for BBQs and playing around. Not a knife for a serious competitions or contests. Hope this helps, have fun!

Good Set for Price
Im no pro, but these have done fine by me so far. Durable and sharp, but they are light weight, so do be careful on the rebounds, they can bounce back pretty far. Great set for reducing trips back to the target to reload. I like to line them all up in my left hand, in a stack, to where I can keep my position once found, and repeat-throw with right hand. I feel when you can keep your position and continue without stopping, you can then get a better understanding of what proper technique feels like. Personally, I think these work better with a two-finger pinch at base of handle, or at tip of blade. If you try to hold these handles with a handshake position, as for knives or hatchets that are blade heavy, I don't think it is going to throw well, due to the light weight...not impossible, but not too simple either. Good Luck!!

Amazed I'm the first to review these.
New to throwing knives so I purchased several of different weights and sizes to experiment with (Ridge Runners set of 12 package, USA, Naruto, Cold steel, silver wing style thowers, etc). Out of all the knives (with the exception of Gil Hibbens knives which are VERY nice but spendy) I prefer these. Good weight, good feel, don't care if I damage them as they are cheap. I use them to practice with rather than beat up my nicer knives (good idea as I'm a rookie). When I get better I will still use these knives but I will not be so scared do damage my better knives. Don't get me wrong, the ridge runners and a few of the other similar style blades that size work great but they don't stick as deep and are more likely to bounce off the target (Currently using pine with laminated cardboard clamped too the front). Then again, the ridge runners are around 1-1.5OZ ? These are around 4-4.5? Either way, It's fun to alternate between these and the smaller versions made by other companies. A word of advise, if you plan on using the no spin technique consider how it will effect your release given the type of knife before you buy a bunch of random knives like I did. I use my index finger to balance the knife as it leaves my hand (literally feel it run across the back of the handle till it's released). I'm learning to throw with the others (I enjoy challenges) but I'm struggling terribly. I have landed all 12 knives into a 2'x2' target from 10 feet away (first day throwing too!) with this style knife thanks too the smooth and almost strait handle. The case isn't that bad LOOKING either.....If you want to keep it in once piece I suggest finding a way to line the pockets with something that will prevent the blade from cutting through the sides.....

Too light my
They are decent set of knives but for throwing they need some weight to him. They're way too light. They just bounce off Target

Nice Set of twelve 8-Inch Throwing-Knives Is A Total Blast!
We ordered this set as it appeared to contain a lot of knives for the price! And we were not disappointed when we tried them! We're not the most experienced knife-throwers, but this set is helping us develop our skills. They're well-balanced and provide a nice, satisfying "Whump!" as they stick firmly into our cedar end-grain target. The knives have a nice heft and are well-balanced and easy to throw. We've used them quite a bit and they've held up well to our efforts to improve our throwing techniques. They've sharpened up nicely when needed. We love this set!

Excellent throwing knives, they throw well conventional and no spin. They have been bounced on cement floors alot, they are tough as nails and good weight, plus its 12 knives with a decent case. I mainly practice and let others practice with non coated ones. I do prefer a longer a knife but these are great knives for the price, I highly recommend.

Great knives for beginner. Perfect for the price. FYI: For those who were looking and didn't find as I myself - 1 knife weight is only 92g. Besides being fairly light they are slightly forward-weighted too - not suitable for no-spin throwing. Spin throwing is fine though, up to 6-7m.

They're cheap but they stick. You're not paying for quality but they do the trick. Fun to flick...Stop rhyming.
