The cap closes properly and I haven’t noticed any leakage while keeping it in the fridge or carrying it around the house. The bottle is also easy to clean compared to many other bottles with narrow designs. One thing I like is that the water tastes fresh since it’s stored in glass rather than plastic. This bottle has a wide mouth for easy and thorough cleaning. It looks and feels excellent - it was much better than I expected looks and functionality wise. The bottle is much better looking than in the pictures in the amazon product page. However it is very fragile and will break very easily if bumped or fallen. If you buy this bottle, I recommend buying a 1 liter jute water bottle carrying bag to keep this bottle in at all times - so that it is protected at all times. If not protected, this bottle will break very easily and given the price (not cheap) it is not a good thing.
