Works as described
This lock works with any zwave enabled hub. I connected it to my ADT hub and works fine. I can set routines in my adt+ app that synch the alarm status with the lock status. Be aware that this lock doesn’t have a WiFi connection. Only zwave. The tech support also told me that you can’t pair this lock to the Yale app because you would need a connection via wifi.

Pairs with Ring
This lock is exactly what I was looking for when buying a smart lock. I wanted something that I would be able to control from my Ring Alarm system App and it does. We had a little issue where it wasn't extending far enough to trigger that it was "locked" but we just made the hole a little deeper. I know most of the negative reviews are on the Alexa feature... we don't really use Alexa so I can't speak to that. I would recommend this lock to anyone who wants a great looking smart lock.

It's not plug and play, you will need some technical knowledge to get it to work.
In the description it says "Hub Required" it doesn't say that there are multiple models of this lock that require different hubs. My lock needs a "z-wave" hub which are expensive and difficult to find right now. The lock function works just fine. It was easy to install. Yale will sell you a Zigbee module for $50 which will allow it to work with newer alexa products without a hub, or you can get a zigbee hub for around $20

Smashed instead of returning it
This thing is the biggest piece of garbage out there. I was going to return it but I decided it would be better to smash it so someone else never saw it.

GARBAGE
I got this on a sale on Amazon but it’s complete BS. This thing is garbage after finally getting a chance to install it. I found out that it’s T-wave not Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and will only work with old alarm systems and in fact, I can’t even get anything to make it work other than a new module. Simply put the saw, wants to get rid of junk that is useless to anyone. I have to buy a new module for another hundred dollars to have this thing work. What a complete rip off I am furious.

Looks good, easy to install
Yale Assure was easy to install in the door. The app to get it to work with the Ring alarm …. Not so much! Still not working and waiting till after the July 4th holiday to call customer service .

Extra hardware needed for Alexa integration!!!
This lock is beautiful, we got the black matte. It's slim and the finish is wonderful. After installation, I was excited to get started with the app and Alexa integration as the video touted... one HUGE problem. You need a SmartThings or Z-Wave hub to connect with Alexa. The description makes it seem like it's plug and play when it's not.
