Works in a UniFi Dream Machine Pro
Used in an SFP port on a UniFi Dream Machine Pro. Enabled the Secondary WAN, connected to a T-Mobile Business 5G Access Point. Now have a failover Internet connection for when Cable goes down.

Works reliably on my 75 ft. CAT6 10Gbps link from the fiber ONU to Ubiquity DreamWall
The Spectrum ONU that terminates my just-installed 1 Gbps symmetrical fiber service has an RJ45 port that runs only at 10Gbase-T or 1Gbase-T - nothing in between. Coincidentally so does this Cable Matters SFP+ device. If I had terminated the 75 ft. run of CAT 6 from the ONU directly on the UDW RJ45 WAN port which tops out at 2.5Gbps, the ONU would handshake down to 1Gbps and I would likely not get the full measure of bandwidth I paid for off of the ONU. I also wanted a solution that would accommodate increased subscription bandwidth over time. The UDW also has an SFP+ WAN port that runs at 10Gbps and this device works like a charm for my application. When they say it works with Ubiquiti, I can attest that it really does. Save yourself the headaches that come with taking a crap shoot on some no-name RJ45 SFP+ device that works only until Amazon's return window closes.

Did not work with Ubiquiti Switch 24
Cable Mattersโฆ what happened?? Not only did both modules not work, but the top one became stuck in the SFP+ port in the Ubiquiti switch. This most likely occurred because of heat expansion. Even after cooling everything down for over 6 hours, I still had to use a microfiber cloth and a pair of pliers - the worst case scenario. Luckily the ports are not broken in the switch. Just to clarify, the Ubiquiti Unifi controller showed nothing but errors for both ports. It did not matter if I turned off the switch and had everything plugged in from first turning on. One of the ports seemed to flip between being connected and disconnected. Maybe there is some compatibility issue with the 10GB module in the 1GB port, however that should make no difference seeing as most Ubiquiti SFP ports are 1GB. The slider mechanism that helps pull the module out is still completely useless on these. And the heat coming off these is way over and above what anything plugged into your network devices should be. If you are looking at these to expand the ethernet ports in your switch, this is not a reliable solution. You should be adding a second switch, and splitting your connections across to the other switch. Maybe even just use the modem/router ports if you do not need to connect to a domain. You could use the Ubiquiti SFP to SFP cable, which will actually reliably work, to connect to the second switch. I have only ever had luck using the Ubiquiti SFP modules for connecting fiber cables to Ubiquiti switches in commercial environments. Even for the home, this will only make you frustrated. These Cable Matters modules are just poorly designed.

Maybe not compatible with Ubiquiti?
Edit#1: After a week the Rx errors stopped showing. Still leaving only 4 stars due to initial errors. Original review: The SFP I received works in my UDM Pro, but it is constantly throwing Rx errors. Is it the device I recived or are they generally not compatible? I've tired both avialable SFP slots, and both provide the same errors when using this SFP. I'm not sure how much the errors effect the throughput. My ISP does not provide 10Gb, but there are errors, so I assume the effective data rate is less than what the ISP provides.

So far, so good
Just inserted it and connected a cable on my Ubiquiti UDM-SE, then it negotiated a 10Gbit connection to my ONT over an old existing Cat 5e cable (best guess is around 40') with no signs of any issues. As mentioned by others, it does run hot, around 70C/160F, but that seems common for all SFP modules I've ever used. I have only tried it at 10Gbit and 1Gbit, so can't confirm if it supports other rates. My only minor complaint is that it lacks any lights to indicate that it is functioning.

Works flawlessly in my Dell X1018 switch
I get 1GB speeds without any additional configuration needed on the switch side. Plug slides in easily and can be removed with the golden lever on the end. Doesn't run hot in my rack.
