RMF-TX500U OEM Remote Control

I had purchased a similar (non oem) remote and had constant issues with delayed or non response from my sony TV. I finally sucked it up and purchased this one and I feel like my quality of life has improved!

Thank you Karma Electronics! After my original Sony TX500U remote was chewed by my dog, I ordered a supposed “original manufacturer” NEW replacement for $55 from another vendor. It NEVER paired with voice command and stopped working completely after 1 year. For less than half the price, I purchased this original Sony remote from Karma Electronics. Included in the package was an easy to follow set of directions to pair the remote, along with a business card offering a simple way to contact the company if I had any problems. I’m thrilled to have voice command again. I highly recommend Karma Electronics.

It is genuinely product, and it is easy to pair the Sony tv. Need to unpair the previous remote then repair this new one. Since it is not the exact same remote the tv come with. Some buttons are not working. But overall I give 4 star

Almost fooled me, but if you examine it closely side-by-side with a genuine Sony remote, there are subtle differences in the fonts and printing. After connecting it via Bluetooth, the TV is no longer able to tell you the software version of the remote. The "APPS" button does not work. The "Google Play" button opens up YouTube. The "Netflix" button opens up Amazon Prime. On top of all that, the buttons feel crunchy. If all of that is worth the lower price, then best of luck.

This remote worked right out of the package. However. It didn’t work right. The voice control didn’t work and the power buttons didn’t work very well. We dealt with it for months. Then I had the bright idea to try to sync it to the tv as in doing a little bit of a reset in a way. Once I went into settings and synced it to the tv the proper way it works perfectly! So learn from me, don’t just take it out and start using it without doing the proper steps.

Tengo mis dudas de que sea original. Comparado con el que venía con la TV, este se siente más “rústico”. Los botones no siempre responden a la primera. El logo de Sony se ve ligeramente diferente.
