Verizon Wireless Freetel eTalk Prepaid Flip Phone (Gray)

I am not a smartphone user, so I love flip phones. I am an old school person and huge phones are not my thing. This is a personable phone, by that I mean it's small. Texting is difficult because you have to type letter by letter but it is okay by me. Please keep flip phones in your inventory.

Great product for the elderly

This is the best phone I have found for my 92-year-old friend. Upside: Basic phone function is intuitive and similar to classic cordless phones. The speaker is relatively loud, the buttons aren't too hard to push. Downside: The volume buttons are on the upper right and easy to press, so its very common to find that an elder has pressed them without realizing it, constantly dropping call volume and/or ringer volume. Anything involving text is awful and cumbersome, including entering names and info in contacts. The phone, while not delicate, is not robust, and doesn't stand up to the fumbling and dropping from neuropathic and arthritic hands. It's slim pickings out there for flip phones, and while not perfect, I havent found a better one.

Ordered to replace my old worn out Verizon prepaid kazuna e talk phone. Verizon prepaid customer service representative gave me instructions on activating the newer phone. Works really good.

Working good so far, it's good enough for my half, it's simple for him!

The phone does not work as expected. It kept freezing up when a call comes in and would stay that way until the phone is reset by removing the battery and placing it back. Very frustrating.

I love this phone for my 85 year old mother. This verizon flip phone is the only phone she's able to operate with no problems.
