Faith in Disney Restored
I will begin my review by saying I was a late adopter to Wii U. We originally got the Wii version of this game for our youngest boy and while the game was fun and allowed him to be creative you could just tell the Wii version was not all it should have been. A few examples would be lack of two player design in toy box mode, or no two player support in the actual playsets. Another and more significant shortcoming was the toy boxes themselves in the Wii version. The amount of objects you could add was fairly limited, not all toys are available in every toy box. In short the Wii version tried to be something awesome and it just fell on its face in my opinion. A few days back I decided to bite the bullet and bought a Wii U and a new version of the game. I was about 30 minutes into my buyer remorse when my youngest started to play the game. The beginning of the game is an introductory sequence for the game but also a primer for game control. You begin as a spark floating around and then the game explodes around you. New landscapes, characters and music unfold around you. It was amazing to see the fire in his eyes and I could almost hear the plans for the worlds he was going to end up creating. The difference is night and day; better graphics, better two player options both for design and gameplay, better controls, infinitely bigger toy boxes and options in the boxes. Another cool thing about this version of the game is that it can be played completely from the Wii U Gamepad; which is a plus if you want to take back the TV. Bottom line, I know that this game is going to require some investment from parents and I think that sucks since it is not a cheap game to begin with...but you will not regret buying this game for a moment. If you have a Wii and have been thinking about upgrading to a Wii U, pull the trigger, do it today; worth every penny; the Wii U version is at least 100 times better in every way.

Amazing and a full of suprizes.
This game is fun, for the sake of being fun. It answers to no one. It takes a bold stand and walking in the footsteps of games like sky landers in hopes of a making a name for itself. Without the success of games like sky landers this game may not have decided to go the route of using real world toys, but it would not have had the same effect. Seeing these toys come to life is a dream to kids the first time they see the enthusiasm they have as they come to life in the game world. I am 26 and a huge geek and a Disney fanatic. I first think of Indian in the cupboard because they toys themselves are the characters and not what you see in the movies. I can not wait for wreck it ralph, toy story and nightmare before Christmas to come out. If your kids are younger, they will not have a problem growing into the game, as some of the content takes time to get used to. I am impressed with the set of tools you are given which aid in creating your own games. Yes your own games, your kids can be creative and this may inspire them to test the waters else ware. The game lets kids be kids, and who has not dreamed of their toy box coming alive, and no characters are more fun than Disney`s.

This game is great but has a few problems.
Well this game is fun, creative, and awesome. Yet this game has some issues. First of all the sound will NOT always come on! Only one world always has sound. Second NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WONT LOAD MY FIRST WORLD!!!! It will load and load the same pic and then just STOPS I have to shut down my Wii u and It was not at ALL good. :( Yet if u want to fight, race, and create anything u have ever wanted this game is for you. This game is better than skyladers because 1 you don't have to buy characters to get into a dumb room 2 you can actually die in this game but you will respawn and you don't need to use another character 3 in skylanders it will say " this character needs to rest" doesn't that just stink? This game lets you play the same character you just need to get a checkpoint. You will get Jack Sparrow,Sully, and Mr. Incredible in this pack plus the adventure mode dick with a secret disk. I got Alice in Wonderland theme please note themes can NOT BE REMOVED! I personally don't like this theme but if u like that music and dark places that is for you. Now if you don't mind no sound SOMETIMES and possibly cant load a world you can totally get this game. I think the "no load" problem can be solved if u don't fill up your toy box too much I think that is my problem just keep it in yellow for the fill bar and you'll be fine. Now I have a Wii u so it might be the machine, so if I were you I would get this game for a old system like Xbox or Wii. I hope that this review was helpful, I have tried to be detailed. [...] try this game out!

Bad Product & Bad Policy
I bought this Inifinity pack for the WiiU to give to my son for Christmas. We open the package and put in the disk only to see that there is an error message with the disk that wont read. HUGE disappointment for my son and now when I tried to return this to the seller on Amazon, I am told that the return window for this product has expired!! I am a fan of Amazon but this timed return policy is terrible when it comes to buying items in advance of Christmas. I don't know if this is an Amazon problem or a Seller problem but the only ones getting shafted is a father and his son on Christmas morning!

My kids love it! They loved it so much we have purchased 3.0 Star Wars for Christmas!
The game is fun. My boys love playing it! Its nice to have the game and "toy box" mode to allow them to create. It gives both my kids what they want. My boys like it so much we got the Star Wars version, (I have little Jedis in my house.) for Christmas. It is lots of fun. I just advise to get a few characters from the worlds the game disc is set in. I am figuring the Star Wars one will be the same. (Example: sully and mike w from "monsters inc" can't join forces with jack sparrow in the "Pirates" world or join forces with mr incredible in the "incredibles" board.) In "toy box" mode, which is basically free play anyone can play, but some characters are ONLY usable in the "toy box". If you or your kid want to play the game boards and are less interested in the "toy box" mode, read your literature before you buy. The cost of these characters adds up.
