Moulinex Blender + Grater

I needed something to grind nuts with and after reading 100s of posts about power etc I was worried about whether this would manage. But I have been pleasantly surprised. Not only does it work incredibly well, its easy to clean and looks good! Both the blender and mini grinder works for grinding nuts and the mini grater is great for small amounts such as carrot for a salad or coleslaw. I am very impressed with the product

I had a Moulinex liquidiser/grinder for over 30 years and decided to replace it when the liquidiser goblet fell apart. The old model had a smooth design (see second photo) but the new one is all angles and nooks and crannies. It does the job of grinding and liquidising. BUT (1) the switch is too easily moved so it invariably goes to "on" when you lift it out of the cupboard and gives you a surprise when you plug it in. (2)The grinder has a surround with narrow channels that are difficult to clean. (3)The lid of the grinder needs careful alignment to put on whereas the older model had a tapered design that made it easy. Such a shame that they felt they had to "improve" the design when it is less practical than the original.

Didn't work.

Having had our Moulinex Blender and grinder for quite some long years, it was showing its age. We found this 500W replacement with an additional chopper at a very good price and marked as "good as new". We will be passing on our ancient one via 'Freegle'.

Ideal for soup blending etc. It is an unfussy, sturdy design, easily attaches and detaches from base, and works well. The grinder and grater attachments were a bonus. Have ground nuts and rice quite speedily.

Good value and does the job.

Ordered for a friend, came on time left were I wanted.

It's great for making batter for Appams which South Indians normally make for breakfast. It's far better than any other expensive blenders. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.
