Lovely decorative piece.
This hour glass is a beautiful addition on my piano. I have it atop a few stacked books and have gotten lots of comments on how great it looks. And it works beautifully. I wish I could just pull a photo from my photo album to include a picture but it’s not allowing me to do that, sorry.

Love it
Ignore the huge crack and patch on the lower bulb, that was my fault and my fix, when I received it, it was in perfect condition. Other then sand that sticks to the sides on the way down from one bulb to the other I really have no real complaints as a tap on the top does the trick. Before the crack and patch, it was timed at 58 minutes. now after losing some sand after being fixed twice it is probably around 57 minutes. I love the metal design which to me is more modern then antique and kind of industrial. My only real nit-pick is the bases which are made of several parts which are a pain to get back on after removing, That being said I love the big screws part of the industrial look I like.

Over an hour hourglass!
Not an hour glass. If it matters to you that there is too much sand and it runs over an hour and the sand sticks to the sides of the glass! It is pretty!

Sis adores this...
My sister bought a new house, and found a similar hourglass for her livingroom. Unfortunately, she broke it bringing it in the house, and it was the only one the store had. 5 minutes on Amazon and I found her this one. She really loves it and it made a great house warming gift.
