As advertised, this bit performs well.

Top and bottom bearings are very convenient for following a pattern with either a hand held router or a router table. High quality bit.

The bit was working perfectly fine, making clean cuts everytime, but after a few uses, te top bearing bent and the bit started to vibrate a LOT! After that every cut was too deep, as the bearing was not working properly as it should be. Haven't used the base bearing yet, but I hope it will last longer than 5 uses.

Works just like it is supposed to. No issues. Very sharp and no vibration.

Putting in a Trex deck and I'm wrapping the stairs with Trex white trim boards. I mounted the boards to the stair stringers and then used the Freud 50-501: 1/2" (Dia.) Top & Bottom Bearing Flush Trim Bit to trim around all of the stair treads. This made quick work of the PVC, no issues of burning or tear out only some user error in managing the router :). I have many Freud bits for my router and they always perform great. BTW, I was running this with the Dewalt cordless router on the recommended speed.

Bought this for template flush trimming a long time ago to have on hand for when I needed it. Well I needed it last night and the bearing burned up in two minutes, the finish chipped off, it dulled in a matter of trying to get around one piece of cherry. I never had this happen on a router bit, but wanted to have a double bearing but on hand. I wish I would have used this but back when I purchased it because I can’t even return it. All their saw blades I use are great but this router bit, no way. Never again.

Delivery was prompt and well packaged. Would recommend this to the avid woodworker who is looking for a quality router bit. Great for pattern work.

Used it to flush some MDF against a template running at 18000 RPM and it did a perfect job (max for this bit was labelled as 24000 RPM). Super clean with no burning or jumpiness that I see in lower end router bits. This one is premium quality!
