After trying several hair styling products only to be disappointed, I finally found the product that checks all my boxes. I don't like to spend a lot of time grooming, especially on my hair. I have short thick hair, and I was looking for a product I can quickly apply to slick back my hair and keep it in place all day. As a bonus, it provides a nice shine, doesn't have a strong scent, and it is easy to wash out in the shower, or just brush through the next day when I don't need to wash my hair. I also tried the Vogarte promade. I give that product 4 stars, but I like the wax better.

I'm on my third jar of this magic clear styling goop. I choose this particular product because it doesn't dull my hair. It leaves my hair shinny and styled. I always bring my own styling products with me when I have my hair cut. My stylist cuts my hair and then watches me style my short and funky hair. Every time that I unscrew the top of this magic gel, she tells me that she has to buy some to try on her clients. So far she hasn't! I've lost tract of how many times that she has sent me a text to photograph the container and send it to her. I love this and use it daily on my hair. It.leaves my hair shiny and set so that I don't have to fuss with it all day. The next morning it washes cleanly out of my hair.

Update: So it's been over a year since my original review that I forgot to update. I've bought this product multiple times since then as kind of my go-to hair product. It's not the best product out there, but considering the price point and the hold it gives me for someone who has thicker hair, it's great. I've also tried other products since my original review. Most are twice the cost, the hold sucks (maybe it works well for people with thinner hair), or it has a weird smell. Speaking of smell, some people say this product has a weird smell, but I disagree. Maybe I've just gotten used to the smell, but if this does have one, it's one of the milder ones in my opinion. I'm updating to 4 out of 5 because it basically is my go to product. Considering this is what $10? It's worth a try if you're looking for a new product. So to be fair, I haven't tried using the product yet, so this review is purely based off my odd circumstance. Product arrived today, packaging was fine. It had the typical clear plastic over the cover so you couldn't undo the top. Took it off and opened the container to find the seal (inside the container) halfway undone. Inside the container is the actual hair product with a fingerprint in the middle of it lol... I'm not sure if I should be worried but I mean it's hair product...so I'll still use it unless I'm not thinking of something. Wax itself appears to be similar to what other user posted. But yeah, a fingerprint. Not sure how that works but it's there and it's not mine. Will update my review when I actually use the product. Just hope it's actual hair product I'll be putting in my hair and not something weird lol.

Holds better than any other hair gel I have used. Minimal shine and NOT GREASY. This is the first I have found to be truly matte. Great product.

I use and enjoy this product. It replaced a previous wax styling product that is no longer available. However, the -reduction itself is inconsistent. Meaning that it is sometimes more jelly like and doesn’t work as well. There have been months that is is close to unusable for my hair needs. Makes it difficult knowing when you open a container it might be good or subpar.

I bought this for my boyfriend but I also have short hair. I always try different waxes, creams or pomades to do my hair but it was very hard to find something that holds but doesn't go crunchy. So we ended up using this together. My hair can be a mess and it's hard to deal with but this product makes it manageable and it ends up exactly how I want it to. My boyfriend loves the hold, he has very thick hair and it took him a long time to find a wax that works. You only need a pea size amount and it lasts all day.

I really like this product - my brother and I are using it together. I was a bit skeptical because of the other reviews about the smell but there isn't really any strong scent - I like how it smells. I'm putting it to the end of my hair and it holds very well- I stopped using foam after this product. My brother also uses it everyday - it works great for him too and lasts all day. I will definitely buy it again.

This paste did a good job of holding my hair in place, but the perfume smell is so overwhelming I had to stop using it because I got a headache every time I used it. I don't understand why they have to add so much perfume into a man's hair paste that I smell like I came out of an old-lady hair salon. With the smell of my shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and after-shave all fighting to show off, the last thing I need is my hair paste adding to the odiferous cacophony.
