These lights are perfect. I need to light the area around my dog door so the dogs can easily see where they're walking, especially my older dog with poor eyesight. I wanted something downlit so it doesn't disturb my neighbors. These have a nice warm light, not too bright for this purpose. They came with stick on templates to mark the screw holes, so installation was a breeze. I'm ordering more because they work so well.

These are fairly inexpensive and work well, and I like that they are a warmer light than many LED lights (not a fan of the 5000K color and like the warmer tones of incandescent). I am on my second batch of these, and overall they work well but they aren't entirely waterproof and the weather will take its toll on them eventually. I originally purchased a set of 6 for a deck where I needed 4 of them. That left two spares. After the first year (I removed them over the winter) I needed to replace one as it would intermittently turn off, and a slight tap would bring it back on. Overall, they last about 7-8 hours on a charge - in the summer, practically from dawn to dusk. After the second year, only one remained working. Two of them I changed the battery (standard AA rechargeable) and brought those back to life, which restored them, but one of them had an intermittent issue where it wouldn't turn on with the light sensor. So I replaced two of them with a new purchase. When I opened up the ones in which I replaced the battery, I could see some corrosion from water intrusion. Again, overall they are good, and for the price I am Ok with only getting a few years out of them. I like the color temp, and it's hard to fine non-bright white LED lights like this. Probably 3.5 stars more than 4.

Very pleased with the solar lights. We put them on our patio screen posts. Perfect amount of light in the evening.

Easy to set up and work really well

I purchased two sets of these and I'm really impressed with them. My front porch gets very dark, and I don't always enjoy leaving my porch lights on. This was a great alternative. They were very easy to install, they provide just enough light without overpowering, and they dont look cheap on the house. I got the soft white which is true to color. My camera for whatever reason shows much more yellow hues than what they actually are. Update- I've had these for a few weeks now, and regardless if I place them in the sun all day (10+ hours) or change out the batteries, they don't retain enough energy to keep the two lights closet to my door to either light up or provide the same amount of light as the one furthest from the door. The one right next to my door never lights up, and the second one is always more dim. Its pretty disappointing since they worked great the first week or so and now don't, but they reached out to me and sent me replacement lights for free. Solid customer service!

These lights are great for a porch stairway. They charge quickly even without direct sunlight, and they stay on and stay bright for hours. And they look very nice. But there are a couple of design defects to watch out for. First, there is an on-off switch on the back, but curiously, it's not a slide switch with two positions, as you might expect. Instead, it's a Push-0n/Push-Off button, and there is no way to tell if you've just turned it on, or just turned it off. So you have to go to a dark place and cover the sensor with something to see which way you've got it set. Pretty annoying. A bigger issue is the way these are mounted, with two supplied screws whose heads hook into keyhole-shaped openings on the back. In theory, that's fine, but in this case, there is no room for error. First of all, they don't supply a template for the two holes, so you have to make one yourself. Second, if you get the separation between the two screws off by even a millimeter, it won't mount, because there is no room whatsoever in the keyholes for any play. And it's difficult to get them flush to the surface, because you must have the screws poking out just exactly the right amount. If the screw is too far in, you can't get it to settle in the narrow part of the keyhole. But if the screw is too far out, there isn't enough room behind the keyhole itself to accommodate the head of the screw, because the head of the screw bumps into the plastic behind the back plate. One of the six lights was not functional, but the customer service was excellent, and they replaced it right away.

These lights are fantastic. Solor powered so no batteries. As soon as dusk comes around they turn on and look great with a warm color. Built quality is fantastic. There is no moisture behind the lenses and all of my lights still work. Light output is perfect as its just enough to illuminate the ground but also soft enough to still be an accent light. Here's a little trick. Make a jig out of plastic with 2 holes drilled in it that match the mounting holes. This makes it easy to know where to place your screws everytime! I will be buying more of these and making my house look like a spaceship!

Those lights have added a lot of accent to my porch. They give a decent amount of light but unfortunately in the winter time do not last all night. But then again it is to be expected with shorter daylight and the fact that lithium batteries do not like the cold. One other feature I like is that someone was thinking when they added paper stickers for the installation of the lights. I have always hated installing those appliances with the two holes in the back. Trying to match the screws in the wall with the holes in the back of the unit is a total nightmare. With those units all you need to do is install the sticker to the wall and install the screws where the sticker indicate. Once done the light will go straight on without any problems. This was the cat's meow.

I bought these lights as a present for a neighbour with new patio decking, and installed them myself. This is a 6-month review, as they're an outdoor product so it's worth knowing how they'll survive. The UK had a very wet late spring and early summer this year, and these lights were outside in all of that. They are all still performing perfectly, and there is no sign of any water ingress. They were very easy to install on wooden decking; one tip from me is to buy and use some high-quality screws, (I used no.6 size pozidriv, as the heads of no.6 screws fit in the rear slots perfectly) which will make installation easier and quicker. Before installing, I dismantled one of the lights to see how it was constructed, and whether the battery could be changed in the future when the daily charge-discharge cycle has reduced its effectiveness. I'm pleased to say the lights have a silicone gasket to seal them from water ingress (which I replaced carefully!), and also that they take standard AA rechargeable batteries, so when the batteries do eventually need replacement, it will be easy to do. These lights are good looking and made from strong pressed steel. I mounted them on the uprights of steps on decking, and they have survived being stepped on and knocked off their mounting screws, as well as the English summer, with no sign of damage. I definitely recommend considering these if you are looking for some good quality outdoor solar lighting. Please consider leaving a helpful vote if my review has been useful!

I purchased these to mark the end of our wall, so as to make it easier to reverse in to the drive at night. They do look bigger in the picture than they are in real life, so take note of the dimensions in the description: 10 x 2.3 x 8.3 cm However for such a small unit, they give plenty of light and appear to charge well even in fairly low light conditions, I'll have to wait and see how well they fair in winter. I like them so much, I bought another pair.

Couple of lights in the bunch were not working but the seller immediately sent me replacement. And they are working fine. Very good experience with the seller and product. 5 star
