I bought these on a whim and fully expected them to brake quickly or not hold my hair...but they have done nothing but deliver flawless looking buns for weeks! I have fine hair to begin with, but recently had a surgery so my hair has thinned out quite a bit while I recover. Creating a full/cute messy bun is just not possible for me right now because I don't have full enough hair. If I try and twist it into a tight bun (without the tool) it creates the world's tiniest bun. It's very sad. I was looking for an option that would give me a full bun look without having full-bun hair. LOL This little device has been amazing! You can change the size of the bun by having it be looser/tighter. It works just like an old school snap bracelet, so it's very easy to use. Takes me 5 minutes to create a professional, polished bun and I get to feel like a ballerina all day. I will definitely be buying more of these when they wear out...but so far they're still going strong! Worth the money. :)

The product arrived quickly. It doesn't come with any instructions, so you'll need to review pics and reviews here to learn how to put it in. I put my hair up in a quick ponytail, opened the the product, inserted the end of my ponytail between the two sides, rolled it up my ponytail and then clicked/snapped it into a donut. It only clicks into a donut one way, so if you try clicking it a certain way and it doesn't fairly easily snap into a donut, try the other way. Then position your hair around the product to create a great bun and hide the product under the hair. It felt like it held my hair tight and didn't feel like it would slip out. Because I have long layers, there were a few pieces that I'd probably bobby pin into the bun if I wanted it to look perfect, otherwise it was a cute messy bun. Super easy. I don't understand reviews that say they can't figure it out. I'm pleasantly surprised and will be giving as stocking stuffers this year.

This is a great product, it appears to be built very well, serve its purpose and holds tightly. I just don't really like how it looked in my hair. My hair is pretty long, but it isn't very thick, so while this product works great, I was hoping it would puff my bun out a bit more so it doesn't look so small. I'm tall with broad shoulders, so I think a small, tight bun looks a bit goofy on me. It's very easy to use, probably easiest to start with a ponytail. Then just alligator the pieces above & below your ponytail, pull it towards the ends, roll it toward your hair, creating the bun, then snap the pieces like a snap bracelet to hold your hair in place.It held nice and tightly - that bun wasn't going anywhere. A nice detail is the pieces appear to be wrapped in a hair-like material, so the device blends nicely in your hair; it's not super obvious you're using a bun tool. I think there's a lot people can do with these and if you wear a bun frequently, I'd recommend this. I'll play with them more to see if I can find hairdos that work better for me, because they really are a great product.

These are a pretty neat concept. The bun maker is like a long slap bracelet that can fold in the middle, where you sandwich the ends of your ponytail between the two sides, rolling it up towards the base of the pony and then bend the two ends into a circle, spreading the hair around to form a bun. however, the bun is not very soft and round, its quite tight and almost has a flat surface to it. It is also hard to do on yourself, and it is not the best for really thick hair. In general it is cool, but slightly tricky doing it on yourself and not really for very thick hair.

I found these bun makers were difficult to use. They are too ridged. I’d like return them, but UPS can be a hassle especially for such a small item. Lost money 🙁

I have very thin, fine, medium-long hair and was looking for a new way to wear my hair up. I ordered the 3-pack and it arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. After a few false starts, I quickly got the hang of using the Magic Bun Maker. The bands have a slight curve inward and you have to curl AGAINST that curve to make it snap in place. I also recommend putting your hair up in a pony tail first to make it easier. Once I figured out how to do it, the results are amazing! I’ve never had thick enough hair to do a proper bun, in my opinion, but this little tool makes it look like I do! Super simple to learn and my hair looks great. What more could you ask for? Now the only question that remains is how well will it hold up to repeated use? If anything changes, I’ll update my review, but for now I’m giving the Magic Bun Maker an enthusiastic five stars.

I used to make buns in my hair all the time but in recent years, you can't lay your hands on the bendable foam bun tool. They've vanished from the planet!! Ever since, I've been in search of the next great bun tool and have been disappointed in today's product offerings in this regard. I reluctantly purchased this fully expecting that it would be another failure that I would waste money on. Not this time folks! This tool is PERFECT!! So easy to use and just snaps the bun into shape and you pull your hair around the bun. So easy; so quick!! I've you've been searching for the perfect bun tool I urge you to try this! You will not be disappointed!

It definitely rolled and like a snap bracelet came together in a roll.... However, the hair does not stay, you still have to pin it up or it flops down the rolled up part and eventually just becomes a nuisance. It does not attach together like I assumed it would, so I had a hard time keeping the hair in place while rolling it. Also because your rolling a straight line of hair and then rolling it up its hart to control the correct tightness/ taught-ness of the hair to make it look good, so maybe a poly tail also needs to be used. But honestly I don't like using polytails because they put unnecessary stress on your roots which is why I bought this in the first place. I will go back to using clips on each side that look silly avoid hair loss and for ease of use. I don't recommend for hair that is shoulder length or shorter as it barely covers the BunMaker and my daughter has a lot of hair.

Your hair will need to have quite some length on it but, yes, this product does work very well. I would never be able to create a bun this style without this tool and you do not have to use elastics. Value for money, with three tools in a bag. The bendable strips are covered with hair-like fibres to camouflage in the hair.

Habe lange Haare und wenn es mal ordentlich haben möchte ist damit gut beraten. Selbst wenn man den Dutt ganz tief positioniert.

Actually very easy to use, though it takes a little practice to get a tight bun. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a very, very quick hairstyle when you’re running late in the morning! Great hold, I can wear this all day while working. Comfortable & no hair gets caught in the accessory so easy to remove
