Updated eranton USB Bluetooth Audio Music Receiver Adapter 3.5mm Stereo Output for Car Home Stereo

I wanted to write a review so that anyone with outstanding questions having read the seller's description will hopefully know the few things I wanted to know when I ordered it. I have a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe which has a powered USB slot in the center compartment which is used to attach (in my case) an iPhone using the standard iPhone lightning cable. That then allows me to play my music from the iPhone to the sound system and shows the names of the tracks and artists and also allows me to use steering wheel controls to change tracks etc. I was unsure whether this Bluetooth adapter would allow me to do that without also using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable into the 3.5mm aux input. Well the good news is that it does, and pairing could not have been simpler, no code needed, just discover and pair. The quality of the sound so far is identical to when the iPhone is connected via the cable. In addition, my Bluetooth phone hands free system still works, so that when a call comes in, the music Bluetooth adapter pauses so I can take my call, and when the call ends, the music starts up again (in other words, there are two Bluetooth connections when driving, the phone hands free one and the new Bluetooth music system one).The only downsides are that with this Bluetooth, the track and artist names do not show on the screen, and it seems that the steering wheel buttons to move between tracks don't always work. There is a slight latency between tracks if you change tracks using the iPhone which doesn't happen when it is connected by the cable, but it is not a major issue.All in all, for just a few bucks, this is a great piece of kit and takes away the wired inconvenience I had before. Using Amazon Prime, I received it within 48 hours which I find amazing.

Not at all as good as I hoped it would be. Good thing I didn't pay alot of money for it.

Works really well. Great way to add bluetooh music to my 2007 BMW. Just need the Aux cord to go with it.
