Great Cello Package
I must say, I was fairly surprised when I my doorbell was rang by the FedEx guy three days before my cello was supposed to arrive. I was even more surprised when I saw the quality of the cello itself. Granted, there are a few blemishes--the sound holes and tuning peg holes had splinters of wood still in them, giving them a really rough appearance, and there are a few blisters and imperfections (and, in some places, it didn't get covered at all, such as inside the gear box. This is my first cello, so in all honesty, I have no idea if it's supposed to be like that or not) in the varnish. That said, however, this is a fantastic cello. It sounds much better than I anticipated, though I don't think the bow is of the highest quality around. Still, it gets the job done, and for the price, it's awesome. All in all, other than the minor cosmetic stuff, this is a great package. The tuner works well and clamps onto the bridge perfectly, and the stand works like a stand should. The only unexpected drawback was the fact that the package was missing the rosin, so I had to go buy some at my local music store. The seller, MusicianVIP or something along those lines, picked up on this immediately and there is currently a cake of rosin headed my way, which earned them nothing but respect from me. Overall, great cello, great seller, and great package. 9/10--I'd buy it again if I could do it over again.

Don't Waste Your Money
This cello is not usable without proper setup. Basically the quality is really bad. - The bridge that came with the cello is bad. Without fixing it your bow can easily touch multiple strings at the same time. - The nut (the bit above the fingerboard where the strings lie) is too high - required to be lowered. - The grooves in the nut where the strings sit is too shallow. Strings can be pulled out of their grooves while playing. My son did this twice while playing. - Most amazing of all, the tuning peg for C string actually broke while trying to tighten the peg. This was even before much stress was put on the peg. Other pegs are OK. But you can feel the A string peg having similar weakness. Basically, the wood used for the peg is not strong enough. Probably maple. Most shops don't carry pegs for 1/8 size. It has to be specially ordered in. - The factory strings are horrible. - I can't say I really like this sound of this "object". I am not sure I can call it an instrument. You get what you paid for but I did not expect so many issues.

Fantastic Instrument
The price is unbelievably low for such a fantastic instrument! I was totally blown away by the wonderful tone of this cello. I still can't believe that for such an inexpensive price you can acquire a cello of its' quality sound. The cello has a very fine appearance also. The instrument arrived one day after hurricane Sandy, but sadly it was damaged. The return and exchange was surprisingly easy and completely painless, all considered. I truly recommend this very fine and inexpensive instrument.

Misaligned parts on the tail hook. Had to purchase a $35 replacement part.
Misaligned parts as depicted in photo. Could not be realigned because they were improperly manufactured, drilled and fitted. Could not tune c string and loos parts created buzzing sound when playing. Poor quality.

Very nice-looking instrument
The cello looks like a beautiful instrument. The wood is actually more of a mahogany color than the dark color that the picture represented on the website. It looks rich. I gave it to my husband for his birthday, since he has always wanted to learn to play one. He has not had a chance to play it yet, and I have been working on keeping it in tune, since the new strings stretch at first. Plus, you have to be certain to try to keep the pegs from slipping, but the downloaded instructions try to explain all this to you. I found them very helpful. It is nice to have everything needed sent all together. When my husband does have a few lessons, I am certain he will enjoy playing this instrument.

DON'T BUY--JUST AWFUL
This cello is JUST AWFUL and it cost me $50 to find this out! When the cello arrived, the packaging was great (hence the one star), but that is where it ended. I tried to assemble the cello and had trouble, so I took it to my child's school and had two music teachers looked at them. Neither could assemble and tune them--the bridge did not have grooves for the strings to sit and it does not stay in place. I then took it to the music store at the teachers' recommendation, from which I learned that the tailpiece is glued on, making it an inferior cello and hence untunable and unplayable. I returned the item only to have lost $50 for shipping/restocking...

WOW!!!!
My wonderful parents got me this for my birthday and i am AMAZED!! It is a beautiful instrument. It has a beautiful sound. The stand holds the cello safely, and the tuner does a great job! The gig bag is very nice, and the bow and rosin are great! You will not regret buying this cello package! Thanks, D'Luca!!

Temporally good
At first it was good enough for this price and awesome service. But now it turns out that the quality is not very ideal. My fingerboard has jumped out of the body, and the rest broke easily. No change to get fixed or returned.
