It keeps leaking from the water to the bottle neck

We tried to fix it many times to prevent the leak from waste trap below to bottle neck but persistently leaks no matter what. Is there something that can be done ?

Not the best quality

Struggled to get it to stay watertight, very little instruction on how to put it all together...so I returned for a refund. Wasn’t sure whether it was me or the trap, purchased another elsewhere and that was fine.
