7 Hatched
Received 12 eggs. After candling after 2 weeks in the incubator 9 were fertile. 7 hatched at around 18 days. 2 did not hatch. This is the first time hatching quail eggs so I'm happy with the results. After 3 days the seven are doing well. I bought game bird feed at the local farm supply that was 28% protein. I ground it up more in a cheap blender to almost a powder for the new babies. Put in a paper towel in the (homade) broader box. I will feed them this for the first couple weeks then give them the feed without blending. I put water in some 2 litter bottle caps for them to drink. They can reach it easily. I also have a regular quail waterer that holds a quart of water. They will get used to it as they grow. Make sure the waterer is for quail and not chickens. They will drown in a chicken waterer. They drink and eat pretty often so make sure they don't run out. They'll rest alot also. It's amazing how tiny they are when hatched. Hopefully you'll have as good luck as I did. I found quail eggs locally for 3 dollars a dozen so I'll probably go that route next time but overall I had a good experience with these eggs.

0% Hatch rate
Not even 1 hatched, I've hatched alot of chicks and this has never happened, I won't be buying these eggs again.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase
I ordered a dozen 11 of the eggs were fertile and 8 of them hatched. The delivery was right on time and they were packaged pretty well and they gave me a nice discount for my next order. The ones that hatched were very healthy, and they were nice and fluffy once they dried. When they hatch they are the size of the pink baby mice.

First time hatching and very happy!
First time hatching quail and I used a cheap Okkobi incubator with rollers and touchy humidity "controls" 10 of 12 candled at day 12 and amazingly 9 of 10 hatched no problem, unfortunately the last failed to zipper fully and one die at 2 days old 2 but for both I blame my inexperience. Eggs were very well packaged in several layers of boxes and padding. Overall very happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again. The variety of breeds in the "hens choice eggs" are super cool!

Great
Had 7 of the 12 hatch. One did arrive cracked and other 5 were not fertilized at all. Other than that great experience. Beautiful variety of colors.

6 out of 12 fractured or cracked upon arrival
The eggs arrived 4 days earlier then I had expected which is great! 6 out of the 12 had cracks and 1 had been broken and dried over. I placed all of them into my incubator anyway. I will update again once they begin to hatch. Update: out of the 12 eggs only one quail hatched and he/she was very loved until it died 4 days later. It had a balance issue and couldnโt stand upright. Long story short, I will try to find eggs locally next time. Changing my 4 stars to 2 due to the fact that only 1 hatched.

It probably depends on seller
The quality of this item probably depends on seller and is likely not very consistent. I bought from ladonnaM, who shipped 16 eggs. I tossed 4 of them that were clearly cracked, so that left 12. Most of the 12 had hairline cracks, and all had detached air cells. I guess fixing the cracked ones with nail polish like what some people say might be a viable thing to do next time (to avoid the egg from drying out too fast). Out of the 12, I had 3 hatching on days 17, 18, and 19. I dropped 1 egg on day 7. In the end, I had 3 chicks. Upon inspection, for the rest of the eggs, the one I dropped was viable and pretty developed before it died. There are another two that had some development. But the rest 6 had no development at all - indicating that they were not viable. So only 50% of the eggs were viable. Of the viable ones, I am getting a 66% success rate (50% because of the accidental drop...). So I guess things are pretty normal if not for half of the eggs not being viable to start with. But then, this is my first time and 3 quails are enough to keep me busy. So I am not unhappy about it. With that said, I might try eBay next time though. They seem to sell a larger volume of these and have a larger selection, with more reviews and therefore likely more responsible sellers.

What a great adventure it has been. Couldn't be happier.
We ordered 12 eggs. We received 14 intact beautiful quail eggs. That in itself was a pretty quality bonus I guess just in case one were to break or like in our case where one was not fertilized. Out of the 13 that were fertile one did have an issue while hatching and died. This may have been a humidity issue or any other number of factors. Our remaining dozen are so healthy and beautiful. It is really neat to see how all of their markings have changed over the last month. Coming up on the four week mark, they are still so different in all of their markings. There is not two of them that are alike. We did not expect the variety and the beauty from what we thought to just be simple birds. They are so much more and very entertaining. We did a lot of research and prepared ourselves for hatching them and raising them. We just never saw the range of color markings and patterns anywhere in our research. If I ever order more eggs I know exactly where to get them. Arrived just as they said they would safe and in a timely fashion and again they are some of the most beautiful birds I've ever seen.
