I have a £125 "gamer chair" I've had for just over a year now, and one of the wheels popped off.. Because even though the base seemd quality it was plastic and was "honeycomb" around where the wheels clip in... Its this what broke, and this has been the offender for every chair. The missus suggested buying a new chair for £100+ but that seemed a total waste, and then I spotted this... Solid metal? £26? Seemed too good to be true? So it arrived, the alan key supplied is pretty poor quality but one end will work, so it's all assembled, I slap on the old wheels that came with the chair and boom! Winner winner chicken dinner, the seats as good as new! It is much higher than the old one, but everything seems better, sounds quiter on the floor boards, doesn't seem to creak as much, just feels really good and solid. I play a lot of online games from FPS to MMOROGs and pretty much everyone I know has had these issues, even with "£200+" chairs, now I'm glad I've found something to recommend... And I'm even more happy the "throw away society" didn't win this round with what's a perfectly fine chair (and perfect with this item on it).

My lad is quite a substantial young gentlemen and is prone to small repeated movements when sat down and when he went to University he quickly broke the large office chair he taken with him that we had bought for him. The plastic chair base breaking in a couple of places with stress cracks. I bought a cast aluminium base to rebuild the chair with and that lasted about 9 months before again he managed to stress crack it into breaking - no I'd never seen that before either! Anyway this purchase was my final attempt at finding a decent chair base that might go the distance, and it has worked a treat. It was easy to fit castors to (also heavy duty!) and easy to mount the rest of the chair too. Its certainly taken everything he has thrown at it for the last 2+ years and has returned home with him for continued use. I also thing its pretty good to look at too, better than the more cumbersome looking plastic bases.

Although you have to put this base together yourself (only takes 5 minutes and is very easy) it does feel very strong, there is no creaking or clanking you can get from some metal bases and it has a wide diameter so your chair is unlikley to tip over if you have a larger chair or you are a taller person. I am about 86 kilos and over 6 foot, my chair is a quality heavy mesh and metal style weighing about 25kilos I would guess, this base feels like it was built for the chair and although I can't speak long term about it yet I feel confident it is going to last many years. I did purchase a 1 piece metal base for 12 pounds higher than this..... but when it arrived it was smaller and felt quite thin near the feet, I returned that because I didn't feel it had the quality I was expecting, this one does and it is cheaper.

The reason I have said surprisingly sturdy, is because the legs are bolted to the centre ring, by you, using Allen bolts, supplied. I am quite lucky as I have a set of Allen keys that fit in a socket set, to allow you to get more pressure on the Bolts to fully tighten them. As you most likely will not have the same, I would suggest using a bit of pipe, or a ring spanner on the Allen Key to get the tightest fit possible. Then as me you will find a remarkably sturdy set of legs and they look great in Black.

Used this item to replace a plastic base that came with a chair, original item lasted only a couple of weeks before splitting in 2, seller said they would replace entire chair, but ultimately we thought we'd have the same issue down the line. Purchased this Item based on reviews here on amazon, arrived very promptly, easy to assemble, also original castors fitted this base, no issues and no further purchases required. Fitted it 5 weeks ago and use it 8+ hours a day, 5/6 days a week, as I'm working from home and its been solid, no issues, very happy with it. Would have no hesitation recommending this product

This was a great product and a direct fit for my son’s gaming chair which split. This was easy to fit and the wheels off his old one fitted perfectly. Fast delivery and very sturdy, this one won’t split because it’s metal.

Purchased to replace the base of my son's Bigzzia gaming chair after the original plastic base disappointingly snapped after a short time with little use. Extremely easy to put together, using the original caster wheels and gas cylinder. Both wheels and cylinder fit perfectly and are assuringly tight and stable. Personally, I think this looks better than the original and finishes the chair off nicely as opposed to the original tacky plastic. The base appears durable and claims to support a much higher weight than the original though time will tell. I would certainly recommend for this size and style of gaming chair.

Se ve fuerte y estable. Facil de armar pero la paquetería dej9 el paquete sin llamar a la puerta y solo enfrente de la cochera aventado y por suerte estábamos en la casa y salimos de inmediato al recibir mensaje de entregado o se lo habrían podido robar. PESIMO!!!

Va genial, a sido una buena compra, se utiliza a diario, y queda mucho más firme la silla.

Avevo bisogno di sostituire la base della mia serie da ufficio danneggiatasi dopo neanche troppo utilizzo. Mastery Mart si è rivelata un ottimo sostituto, di materiale decisamente più resistente e robusto rispetto alla precedente, sono anche riuscito a recuperare le rotelle della sedia che si adattano perfettamente anche a questa base. Nonostante l'utilizzo intensivo, ritrovandomi a lavorare da remoto, non ho avuto ancora problemi da questa base.

Bon produit, très solide, a permis de donner une nouvelle vie à ma chaise. Le montage est très simple, le package est complet avec tout ce qu'il faut dans le carton. Attention tout de même, ça m'a pris bien 15 minutes pour pouvoir retirer l'ancien pied de la chaise, je dis ceci afin que vous soyez préparé, car ça n'a rien à voir avec le produit mais plus dans la préparation, ou un marteau pourrait être indispensable. Je trouve le prix un tout petit peu trop élevé quand même, mais ça reste un bon achat selon le prix de la chaise que vous souhaitez rénover.
