As good sound for my Arduino project as I was hoping
Both units worked fine and are as represented. Using with Arduino (or clone) Uno / Nano and a 3 watt amplifier it sounds great. Not tinny or tiny sound. Deep notes sound good. No problem recommending, assuming the size fits your project.

Not the worst, but not the best either
For $8 (and two speakers) these aren't half bad, just don't expect to be getting god-tier quality out of them, and just be aware of how much you're spending for these two speakers. If you understand that, then these speakers will give you no problems. They're super simple to use, just hook them up to an amp and you're good to go.

Not as loud as I expected
The speakers just feel like they are lacking.... something. They don't get as loud as I expected and it just doesn't sound great. I didn't expect the worlds best sounding speakers, but I expected a bit more.
