Do these bobbins work with a viking designer se?

I don't have a Designer SE, but own a later model. The bobbins are size L, but they do not work with my Viking machine because the bobbin case is not metal. I use them with my Brother; the case is metal and the magnet on the underside of the bobbin provides more stabilization.

Is this a new full box of 100? I see that somebody only received 20.

I have ordered two or three boxes and of both black and white at this price, and have always received 100 bobbins. I would search for: 'Magna-Glide Prewound"L" Bobbins White - 100 count' and order that item. They are wonderful if you have a metal bobbin case!

Will these work in Brother1700E machine?

Most home machines take A or 15 bobbins. These are L. Check with your manual, it should tell you what size. Clear Glide are A/15
