Is the motor on this product robust

Hi, I have not had any problem with it up until now. I have used it for grass seed and fertiliser spreading and it managed very well.

Could this be used for spreading slug pellets ?.

The appature on the spreader looks to be large enough for small slug pellets.

What setting on the handle is it Bassette for distributing the right proper amount of fertiliser / grass seed using 1 to 8 setting

All materials flow at different rates and application rate will also vary with walking pace. The material instructions will indicate the weight per sq mater, match it by eye.. Excellent machine, I use mine for both fertilizer and grass seed.

Is this unit recommended for spreading salt on icy stairs, paths & driveways? Any advice or feedback will be greatly appreciated :-)

Since I’ve had mine no snow or ice but if we get any will use to spread salt to de-ice paths
