This fit our Broan stove-top vent perfectly and replaced a more flimsy filter. Made with mesh aluminum screening and a black inner charcoal layer, it does a good job filtering and trapping grease in the air as we cook. Not the heaviest, but cleaning is simple: put it in the dishwasher top rack and take it out when done. Make sure you first allow it to drain after washing...it traps water just like particles. Glad we got it!

I had tried cleaning my filter instead of getting a new one.When I ordered these, they were pristine, individually packaged, had no strong smell, and easy to install. The one I used to replace the existing filter fit really well. There was some issues, but I had just put it in the wrong way.It looks pretty square, but don’t be fooled, it’s actually a rectangle. The filter is working really well so far, and there is no grease to be seen. So far, over the past couple of months it has made itself well worth the money!

I didn't know how my range hood worked for a couple of decades. Until the other day. I was curious. It isn't vented and just blows air from the stove top towards the ceiling. There as a steel mesh cover over the fan but that was it. I had washed it a few times over the years. Full of grease and grime. So I did a minute of research and realized that there should be a carbon filter on the mesh screen that filters the oil and other particles while cooking. And so this filter arrived and there it was. Same size as old one. Only issue I had was the old filter was flat. Maybe an 1/8th inch thick. This filter is thicker. Maybe 1/4 of an inch. But it fits perfectly in the grooves of the range hood fan. And when I turned on the fan it was rubbing against the back of the filter. Terrible grinding noise. I put a little pressure on each side of the filter pulling it down being careful not to bend the tin outer case and it stopped rubbing against the fan. I'm looking forward to using the range hood the correct way now.

These filters do a really great job with my ductless range hood. I cook, bake or fry several times a day so these filters take any grease and odors away. I know exactly when the filter needs to be changed because I will start to smell cooking odors. They are simple to install. This is my second purchase so I plan to be a repeat customer. I find the price for the 4 pack filters is fair.

Had a difficult time trying to locate the filter for my range hood, but found the filter on Amazon. This filter is for a range that has no roof vent. It is the only filter for cooking over a stove top. The old one was stuck in range hood with years of cooking grease and never being changed. This one saved the day and was an exact fit.
