Fun little board
This mach 3 board is fun. Put it on my cnc router and have been using mach 3 software for a while now and I'm happy with it

Good upgrade for people with other mach3 machines
Work with mach3vso I don't have to use multiple post processor. The drufelcnc that comes with it is cheap for a license and works well, but the graphics could be improved.

Dead in the water
No CD came with this board, got the files on-line. X,Y,Z Stepper Motors will not run at all. Everything else (limits, Spindle) work. Stepper motors will not even lock-up (like they're supposed to) when the board is powered-up. I have built and configured many Mach3 CNC systems in this shop from tiny to large projects, also have many properly SainSmart CNC machines working well in this shop some Mach3 some GRBL. Very disappointed with this board.

Only can be setup in Metric units
I have been running CNC machines for over 35 yrs, I have a Mach3 license and run it on another hobby machine. After contacting SainSmart, because my machine would "reference home" and then move one half inch off the switch for it's zero. My mistake is in configuring my motor tuning to INCHES, When configured to Metric it moves only .5mm (.020" inches). There is no way to change this as it seems to be configured in the board. So I can either live with my home about 1/2" off the limit switch or keep it in Metric, which in the U.S. we only use Metric when we have to as it never became a "Standard'. SainSmart's customer support was very responsive but.....not very helpful. I had high hopes for this control board.
