Squishy, Stretchy and Smelly
I'll start with the positives: It has great grip. It's nice and long. And it's cushy under the knees.Unfortunately, it has a several downsides. First, it's too squishy for any standing / balancing pose. You sink in and there's side to side wobble. I don't have any trouble with balance so it's not that it makes me fall over, but it puts extra wear on my joints. They might claim that the extra work is good for your balance/muscles, but that's like saying that running in sand is great for you because the soft sand gives your muscles work extra hard. Maybe, but it'll also mess up your knees. Also, the material stretches lengthwise. So if you're in, say, downward dog, the mat will stretch longer, moving you into a wider stance than you started in. (Same for forearm plank or anything where you are putting weight on both ends of the mat.) These first two issues basically mean that the mat isn't much good for yoga, since you wouldn't want to do downward dog or any standing or balancing poses on it, since it won't let you get into a stable pose. It would be fine for most pilates, if not for the next issue. It's got some pretty bad odor. I would be extremely surprised if it's actually non-toxic. It off-gasses pretty heavily, and it doesn't smell like treebark or a meadow at dusk. The odor alone makes it pretty unpleasant to use when lying on back or stomach. So what we're left with is a mat that's too squishy to do standing and balancing exercises on, too stretchy to do downward dog on, and too smelly to do any exercises when lying down.

Very Comfortable
Thrive on Wellness Thick Exercise Mat with Carry Strap, 72 x 24 x 1/2-Inches, Blue VERY COMFORTABLE. The mat is the perfect length and width, and the density of the foam is also perfect. At only about a half inch thickness I can kneel down on it, even on a hard floor and it has no ill effect on my 64 year old knees. And I am a big boy at almost 260 pounds. I have been dieting since 1/1/17 and have lost 52 pounds to date, and just reached the point where the exercise element comes into play. If you're going to exercise or do Yoga or whatever, this is the mat to buy. I highly recommend it.

A longer mat is needed for those total body relaxing poses! Love this mat!
I have exercised at least 4 times a week since I was 29 with the exception of a few weeks due to the flu or vacation or whatever. Five years ago I picked up a mat at Walmart but at 57 when I decided to switch to only doing yoga, I decided I needed a longer mat. Even though I'm only 5' 6 1/2" tall my heels were always scooting to the floor. Found this "longer" mat and didn't realize how old my other mat was until I laid down on this one!

Super thick but firm and supportive
In my 50's, I'm late to the yoga thing and any poses that put me on my boney knees is uncomfortable enough to be distracting from the practice. I've tried thick mats in the past and, while they were soft on my knees, they were too stretchy and move and make my downward dogs a thing of constant adjustments. With this mat I finally found the best of both worlds - firm enough not to stretch or change shape in poses but thick enough to be easy on my knees. It was so nice I'll be putting in an order for a second one since my wife took this one over...

Excellent vendor
I received my mat within a few days. It is a well made and comfortable mat. The vendor sent instructions on how to handle the mat upon receipt and followed up within a few days with additional hints for how to preserve the mat. I had no issues but have no doubt they would have been addressed if needed. Would definitely recommend them.

Love the length
Love the length, the color and the thickness! As far as comfort, thumbs up. The only couple things: it has a hard smell of synthetic though I've been told by their professional, friendly staff that they use non toxic material and it could be from sitting in their warehouse so hoping the smell will go away in time. The other thing buyers should be aware: no pets, no socks on this mat; delicate, easy damaging material. It' hard to find something of amazing quality and low price... This has a good value for its cost, I use it mainly for my abs workouts and it eliminated any discomfort caused by my bony structure. I still use my regular yoga mat for everything else, balancing it's hard on this one.Hope this helps.I do most of my purchases based on reviews so i always feel it's only fair to share my honest opinion. It has it's flows but the company seems great, admitting to it and working on improving its durability. I am keeping it.

Great Customer Service!
I have been using this mat for several months, and I totally love it! However, I began noticing that my hands and feet were slipping on the mat, and I was afraid I was going to fall. Parts of the mat felt very slick. Thinking it needed cleaning, I contacted Abundance for All to ask how to best clean it. I was told by Michelle that a cleaner for this mat is not yet available, and she asked me to send pictures of the mat to show her where the slippery spots were. After I sent the photos, I was told I would receive a brand new mat, which I received within a few days. I was extremely satisfied with Michelle's helpfulness and excellent Customer Service! I would most definitely recommend products made by Abundance for All, as they stand very firmly behind their products. Great job!

Good quality material, not like the memory foam of other mats
When taking the mat out of the plastic, the initial size was only 71 by 23 inches, but after 1-2 days it expanded to the 72 by 24 inch size. When it arrived, the shipping box was opened on one end and the strap was missing. The seller contacted me to make sure I was happy with the product, I mentioned the strap was missing, and the seller is shipping out another strap. This is great customer service, not what I expected! Regarding the mat itself, it feels more sturdy, I don't leave an indenture of my hand in this mat compared with other 1/2 inch thick mats which are more like memory foam. There is absolutely no slippage when doing downward dog. I usually have to replace my mat every year because of stretching at the top and bottom ends, but this mat seems like it will last a lot longer. There is a ridged side with the logo that is face up, and the smooth side is against the floor. There is no slippage on my tile floor. The 1/2 inch thickness protects my body and joints, but still allows me to do the tree pose without falling.
