Dunking them for a second softens them just enough without turning them to mush, and the buttery taste really comes through. The two-pack is great because one pack is gone before you know it, and the second feels like a little bonus stash. If you grew up with these, the nostalgia hits hard. If you have never tried them, this is an easy recommendation for anyone who loves true shortbread.

I ordered two boxes. Didn’t taste right. Tasted stale and not like these normally taste. I can’t even stomach them but I’m not allowed to return them. What is up with this policy? So if they’re stale (these are definitely stale even if sell-by date is correct) and taste “very off” and make me ill, I can’t return them? You and Amazon need to do better. This is unacceptable.

Nice to be able to get a taste of SA in the Uk

Unlike any shortbread you get in the UK. Grew up eating these in South Africa and one of my granddad's favourites. Simply yummy. And as any good South African would tell you, even better dipped in tea or coffee 🤩
