These biscuits take me straight back to childhood. The flavor is exactly how I remember it: rich, buttery shortbread with that perfect crumbly texture that melts in your mouth. They are not overly sweet, just a simple, classic shortbread that somehow disappears way too fast. They are especially good with a cup of tea or coffee. Unlike any shortbread you get in the UK. Grew up eating these in South Africa and one of my granddad's favourites. Simply yummy. And as any good South African would tell you, even better dipped in tea or coffee 🤩
