Just what I needed for a Last of Us cake - worked perfectly.

This bark mold saved my sons wedding cake! I was having problems with the butter cream frosting. So I used the bark texture mold with Dark & white Melting chocolate, and because it’s flexible silicon I could bend it to the perfect curve as it hardened to fit around the cake. I also used it to make a cute heart with the couples initials to look it like was carved in the tree trunk. I’ve never use silicon molds before but I’m sold!

The icing was colored to look like wood and the mold gave it the finishing touch needed to make it look realistic!

Picture does it no justice. I’ve only used one mat so far but it turned out great. Easy to use. I airbrushed black into the crevices and it looks almost real.

Total amature, here, and this mold made me look like a baker! I bought some color powder, mixed it with vodka, and painted the crevices with black, and everyone at the party was SO impressed! It was fun to make and play around with!
