I want to buy two pieces in different colors

That should be an issue as they do not come in sets.

Does this top have mesh on the inside covering the upper back? Thanks

It does not. Though there are some of Landau tops that do have this.

Is the black scrub top a true dark black or is the color closer to a charcoal black? I am looking for a true black scrub top, thanks

So it does start out closer to a true black. Unfortunately after only a few washes it does look more like a charcoal gray. That being said Landau is by far some of the best scrubs out there.
