Universal A/C Remote Replacement Remote Control with 2000 Codes

I have Carrier A/C units. It took me a minute to orient myself to the buttons on the remote, but following the instructions I was able to program the remote after trying only three codes, in the case of the first unit I tried, and the first code worked for my other unit. Two minutes, and I was up and running. All features seem to work as advertised, and correspond to a feature on the unit. I am not even sure the previous remote I had allowed for a timer to turn the unit on and off,but this one does, if you leave it in a location where the A/C can read the signal from the remote. I bought three of these to replace the worn-out remotes that came with my housing where I'm assigned for three years. I will be keeping these for myself and using them in my next house.

Remote did not work....no specific instructions as to how to program remote to Sanyo unit. Therefore, it did not work. I assumed that it would work since no specific instructions were given. I purchased locally from a Mitsubishi dealership my new remote and I was given specific instructions as to how to program it to my Sanyo unit and it worked. Sorry, but I had to resort to a local dealership which unfortunately cost me more.

Not sure if the receivers are broken on the AC units itself, but remote only worked on 1 out of 3 units.

Remote for Sanyo AC quit working. Ordered this to replace and works perfectly. However, directions tell you to input code numbers, but there is no number pad. You need to use the buttons surrounding the green buttons. I believe it starts with the left top as #1.

Nice remote control but I could not get it to work for my Sharp portable AC.

Currently, I am using the remote with a Samsung AQ12FAN system, thought I did try it with a Hitachi and a Mitsubishi ductless/split HVAC units. It is easy to program with the numeric keys. As others have said, may need to try a few of the provided codes first to make sure that all functions of the AC work. It is also extremely easy to use as it has a large and easy to read screen and big and easy to hit buttons. The range is great as well, can point it in any direction and the AC receives the command. The room thermometer function is accurate and the ability to switch between Fahrenheit and Celcius scales with a single button is great for those visiting from across the pond.Only wish is that it can also switch the time format from am/pm to 24 hours. The only bug that I have found is related to that, the remote shows the hours of 12 am and 12 pm as 0 am and 0 pm, so maybe there is a way.

It works as promised. It takes a little while to get the right code. None of the codes that was indicated for the specific brand worked. Had to to do the auto-search. But it does what it supposed to do.

i just received this a/c remote control i try to program with all codes to my daewoo a/c but don't work!!! i see customers review they say is very easy but with me doen't work the item looks very nice!! i follow the instruccions and fail all!!! i don't know if is the a/c or the remote.
