So if you need a bright Battery Powered Headlamp this one will do the job! I was tired of my other headlamp not being bright enough when I’m walking in the woods camping. Now with this one I can see where I’m going and stun any critters looking at me. Hopefully not looking at me as dinner. Hence needing to stun them. It’s comfortable, and durable. The biggest pain in da butt is getting the back off to put the batteries into it. It’s a little tough and I have to use a screwdriver or multitool to pry it open. I also like the blue color because I am notorious for misplacing anything that’s black. I just can’t find it and if I’m looking for a light, I need to be able to find it at night a little more easily than trying to look for a black colored band, blue is much easier to see but no so bright and ugly you feel like a construction worker. I just used it recently camping at a festival and it was prob a bit overkill there but I could see that’s for sure. I used the lowest light setting while there most times. I was hesitant about having buttons because if you toss it into your back pack it has more potential than a slide switch of accidentally get clicked on. However I find that the pressing of the button has to be pretty intentional and this never got accidentally on while I had it in my backpack.

Very servicible light with multiple lighting options, including red. The red is not the brightest, but it works in seeing inside your deer blind during the dark without lighting up the whole area with white light. Not quite bright enough in the red mode for walking trails after dark, unless they are well marked or well known to you. The white bright levels are very functional and bright.

So far, so good. We shall see how long it lasts. I have another one like it I found at Goodwill and it's been through it. I prefer batteries since the USB version have limited duty-cycles on the battery and when you can put in your own, all you have to do is carry a few extra if your going out on trail in case the batteries get low. It's build is Okay, but as I said, I'll see how long it will put up with the eventual abuse it will go through with my primitive camping. I'd say it's every bit of 1300 LUX - very bright. I also use the red light to preserve my night vision. I'd like brighter colored lights but for the price it's about what you'd expect. Headband seems well made and durable but these are usually the first to go on you. I'll follow-up this review if anything falls apart.

These are very bright!! They provide premium light for a very affordable price. I am very pleased! My husband uses them while deer hunting and they provide great visibility in the early morning and at night.

light weight, easy to use. buttons work fine. Wish the red LED was brighter (hunting), otherwise it is a good product for hands free use. Good price point
