War Room Leader Kit

Great Bible study that expands on the teaching moments of the movie "War Room". There are five lessons and each lesson has three devotional studies so you can meet for five weeks and do the five lessons and then on your own in between do the three devotional lessons or you can do each lesson together that incorporates the devotional lessons which makes this a 20 week Bible Study, which is what we have chosen to do, so that we can grow together and hold each other accountable in our walk with God. In the first lesson it is about an honest evaluation and it poses this thought provoking statement, "Many times our actions are a much better indication of where we are spiritually than our guesses and opinions." I have been in Bible studies for almost twenty years and this was the first time that point was made. You are always asked where do you think you are at in this area...you give your opinion...and you move on...never have I been asked if my actual actions match up or reveal the same exact answer. I will say in lesson 2 I added two pages of material to the lesson to biblically define what is accountability and what is judging as even holding someone accountable you need to have a relationship with that person, you just can't randomly go to someone not knowing the whole picture and hold them accountable as that could be seen as judging. But overall, this study is great and it was to be expected as it is written by those who produced the movie, the Kendrick Brothers, and well anything coming from them will be scripturally sound, thought provoking, grow you spiritually, enhance your walk with God and make you a better Christian.

We did this as a small bible study group with several ladies. It spoke to everyone in the group. The lady that was leading it was very surprised at how the Lord worked through her to make her first War Room and how her relationship grew was amazing. This is designed to speak to new believers, non-believers and seasoned believers. I love this. Simple, practical, easy to follow, great at building your faith walk with the Lord and most importantly, not so extensive that people have excuses not to complete it.

War Room was a great movie so our family group decided to do the study. This study has you dive deeper into the movie by showing clips and then having a question and answer section. I would recommend this for any family/small group. It is great in the way it teaches about the power of prayer.

We will start this Bible study tonight 5/2/16 with our Ladies Circle. I feel it will be a great study. There is a lot of soul searching. I have study the first session. There is a lot to study and learn. Would recommend. God bless you!! The leader kit has the movie clip and study book.

Pray about this if you are planning to lead a group. A few of my friends and I are doing this together and you must be open to sharing some of your personal life so again pray.

Used for a Women's Bible Study. Very interesting and informative. The kit includes the book and the DVD with the clips for review and discussion from the movie, so be sure to order the movie DVD to watch first.

Bought this for the women's Bible study class I teach. We wanted to do a study related to prayer and this was one of the suggestions that I reviewed and ultimately decided to use. It is a pretty good study and has a lot of questions to stimulate discussion among the group. It has fewer weekly assignments than other studies we have used in the past, only three vs. five days of assignments. Usually this would be something I would put in the "con" category but it was one of the reasons we chose this study as we were looking for a shorter study (This is only five weeks vs sever or eight weeks) and one that had a lighter assignment load to ease our class into the new year after taking Most of December off due to all the scheduling conflicts from the holidays. There is a DVD that comes with it and there is a short, less than five minutes or so, video to view each week. You could do the study without the leader kit, the only difference between it and the regular book is the inclusion of the DVD, but there would be a few of the discussion questions you would have a hard time answering. The clips are from the movie and so you might be able to do the discussion if the movie had been viewed recently, depending on your memory! There is not as much author provided material/insight as you might be used to from other studies from Beth Moore or Priscilla Shirer, but there are plenty of questions and material to stimulate discussion in your group if they are wiling to participate.

This study guides with the help of the movie to many of the saving essentials of the good news of Christ. It is a life giving experience for the participants and the leader as well. The observations are anchored to awesome Bible passages.

Bought the book as a part of a Bible Study with the movie. Challenging and "in your face" No beating around the bush as it were

A great study to follow asking some excellent and thought provoking questions. The study is a good way to develop a deeper faith no matter how far you think your faith is strong. Well worth considering giving it a go.

Ich habe dieses Kit gekauft und nun festgestellt, dass der Film NICHT enthalten ist. Es handelt sich bei der DvD lediglich um einige wenige Clips, also Filmausschnitte. Der Preis ist vollkommen überteuert und ich bin enttäuscht. Muss nun den Film nochmal extra kaufen und komme somit auf fast 40,- Euro!!
