Easily put together, rolls great amazing compact storage.

For what this is, I’m happy. My son just turned 18. With adulthood comes more responsibility. I wanted a small file storage solution that would allow him to start organizing his own important papers, but would be small and lightweight enough for him to move from place to place as he moves through his early adulthood years. He still lives at home, but this file system will be perfect to take with him when he is ready to set up his own place. It can easily sit on the floor in a corner or on his desk and not be in the way. It comes with the options of small wheels, little plastic feet, or using neither. As seen in my photo he chose the little feet. I like that it has the option of buying another cube and being stackable too. At this stage of the game though, he doesn’t need to have that many files. The drawer is just fabric covered boards (probably thick cardboard), but for a fabric box, it’s pretty sturdy. It has a foldable bottom insert to reinforce it, and plastic pieces that clip over the top of the sides to create “rails” for your hanging file folders to slide on. File folders are not included. It comes in a flat box in pieces, but only took me about 15 minutes tops to put together.

I ordered this not realizing the drawer was fabric and the assembly particle board, however, after assembling it, I have to say it exceeded my expectations.The housing cube is very solid. Once built, it was solid, without a tiny bit of wiggle. It's thick enough that it could hold a printer, books, etc. without sagging, and heavy enough that I don't have to worry about it tipping when I pull out the drawer. Even the fabric bin has plastic rails to keep the box from folding in, and the file folders slide well along it.I'm only giving it 4 stars because 1). Tabbed folders graze the top of the cube. It could be a few millimeters taller 2) any prolonged pulling/use will eventually cause the front to cave and bend (though I will be reinforcing it before this happens) and 3) this one is probably the biggest drawback for me--its not on sliders/tracks and there's nothing to keep the cube from falling out. I have mine on the table, so I can't just pull it out and walk away. I have to awkwardly brace it with my stomach to keep it from plopping on the ground, but overall, it's a pretty decent piece of furniture.

I bought two of these about a year ago to put file folders in. I have to admit, although I love the product, I don’t love it for file folders. You can’t pull this out partway and sort through your folders without holding the drawer up. You can, however, easily pull the drawer box out and set it on a table top to sort through it.But nevertheless, this is a great product, and yesterday I put together seven more of them, that I’m using for general storage. All those piles of stuff that have been sitting around my office, now have an out-of-sight place to be. And I can use the tag on the front for reminding me what is in each drawer.Each one takes about 15 minutes to put together, maybe 25 minutes for the first one if you haven’t done one before.The wheels are decent quality, and roll smoothly, but there are two lockable wheels on each unit so it won’t go rolling around if you want it to stay put.It also comes with plastic channels for the tops of the drawer box so that your hanging files will slide more easily, but I don’t use those plastic channels…. as I mentioned, files aren’t my favorite thing to store in these.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I love these. Stack nicely. Holds lots of stuff. Organized my entire bathroom closet. Drawers are easy pull out. Was concerned about drawers being material but I don’t think it will be an issue. They are firm and appear well made. I bought basic white and am very happy with them.

This little cabinet serves the purpose for which I purchased (to hide some old paper files in my new work from home environment). I have two issues that kept me from giving a higher rating. First, when you pull out the "basket" from inside the cabinet you have to hang on to it or it will fall since it is not on any sort of runners. It's basically a fabric box without a lid that fits into a square wooden cube. Like what you would see in a mud-room or laundry room. Second, the plastic strips they send to protect the top from rubbing against the cube (I guess) do not fit well and fall off every time I pull it out. I ended up just discarding them. Otherwise, it seems to be decently made and looks nice & neat. I like that you have the option to use the wheels or not.

I was looking for a single drawer file that gave me extra space under my desk so my new subwoofer could sit on top of it. This works perfectly. Comes with both the feet and wheels so if you're getting several, you can stack them or if you just wanted one without extra drawers or shelves like me, you can just use the wheels. I will say that although the instructions had no words, only pictures, they were still quite easy to follow and everything was labeled clearly with the different bits and screws each having it's own little baggie. All 4 of the casters swivel so you can roll it in any direction and two are lockable so it won't roll off once in place. Was much cheaper than any others I saw, and the only thing that I noticed was the holes for the pin locks were a little rough with tiny bits of wood sticking out. Once it's assembled, these are covered so you won't notice once it's in use. Files fit in just fine. File "drawer" itself is a cloth covered bin with handles on both ends for easy lifting. The only color available was white, so I got some black wood grain contact paper to cover it with.
