I bought this to pair with a 12" Infinity Kappa Free-Air subwoofer (Main amp is the Audison 4.300). They look good and deliver very nice, clear sound with abundant power. I like that they have the ability to sense the resistance of the speakers, which saves some time and trouble. Install was easy, connectors are robust except for the power-on wire, and the instructions which seem to be written in a way to reach people who speak any language, which means they're pretty much indecipherable to speakers of any language. For those two problematic and easily avoided design difficulties, I deduct one star. I always say that the people who design things should have to use them before product release and that definitely would have prevented these two stupid mistakes. For some obtuse reason, the connector for the power wire is tiny, flimsy and doesn't want to maintain a solid connection. If it's jiggled even a little bit the power connection opens and the amp shuts down. I eventually got it to seat well enough to stay connected but we'll see what happens long term. A nice feature of this connector is that it includes an output wire so you can daisy-chain remote power to another amp or other device. BUT the input wire is red, when the standard color is blue. The daisy-chain wire is blue, which confuses things. As to the instructions, the people at Audison tried to design instructions that not only are drawn with virtually indecipherable ideograms and almost no text, but the instructions include every amp in the line which makes finding specs and settings difficult. Some of the features, i.e. buttons and switches on the amp, have no explanation or instructions at all as to what they do or how to set them. Luckily I was able to find more information by searching online (but not, for some reason, on the Audison website). That's really annoying. I would have dinged Audison two stars except the performance is so good and that's what really counts, after all is said and done.
