I am a diabetic and I cannot tolerate aspartame, which is in most sugar free products. I've been buying these for the last ... 3 years. Dr. John's candies are made with erythritol and I have no problems at all. I eat about 3-4 candies a day at work, where I don't want to drink to much water so I don't have run to the little girls' room too often. Dr. John's candies help me avoid dry mouth and are really more fun than drinking plain water. These candies do not leave any after-taste like a lot of sugar-free products do. Each of the flavors taste authentic. I alternate between the fruity and the creamy flavors and they are all equally good. Yes, they are pricey compared to sugary candies, but erythritol is expensive, and the consistent quality and excellent flavors are well worth the price.

These candies are super yummy and healthy. My son and students love them and they can have them as they are colored with naturally occurring dies on fruits and veggies. Good value for the money

These are expensive, but mostly delicious. The tropical fruit one tastes like sunscreen, however. The pomegranate is the best one!

These shatter super easily. You basically can’t drop them AT ALL from ANY HEIGHT or the candy will shatter. I like that they’re sugar free and the kids seem to like the taste (we’ve had their lollipops before). It’s pricey too.

I like these candies quite a lot, but, unsurprisingly, they are not exactly like a sugar candy. The flavors are just a tad peculiar, though I'm not sure why. But for me they serve my purpose. I use them, especially late at night, when I get a strong craving for a sugary dessert. By eating a few of these my craving for real sugar goes away. And that is why I bought them. If you are trying to give up sugar, these are very helpful.

I was searching for a good tasting hard candy with xylitol and/or stevia and all clean ingredients, nothing artificial. I like xylitol because it helps fight mouth bacteria and stevia because it’s natural and doesn’t raise blood sugar levels. I’m not a big fan of erythritol since too much of it bothers my GI track. When this popped up on Amazon, it met my criteria, so I decided to give them a try, even though they were pricey. I hoped the small amount of erythritol wouldn’t be enough to bother me. It hasn’t. I couldn’t be happier with these candies! I have now purchased four different bags of these and love the fruit flavors. I wish they weren’t so expensive, but they keep me from overeating at night when I tend to want to snack. I find them to be plenty flavorful and have the right amount of sweetness. Good texture also. Highly recommend.

I can eat these all day without raising my blood sugar. So good and natural. So many flavors to choose. And with vitamin C and fiber too. Hard to top that! Bought 4 packages already. Great for travelling. Be back for more. (Tossed away my chewing gums and unhealthy mint candies full of sugar and artificial sweeteners full of chemicals! )

I take some medication that gives me dry mouth. Hard candy is helpful. I'm trying to watch my sugar intake so I ordered these. They are absolutely horrible. They taste terrible and coat your mouth in an adverse way. What's worse is although Amazon says it is return eligible for a month, when I click to return it, it states it is not. Would highly recommend NOT ordering.
