Great examples of free motion quilting!

When you are stuck in trying to think of a way to quilt, this is a good reference tool to have. It's full of all kinds of ideas for people like me who are not creative. It doesn't give instructions, just pictures, so it may not be suitable for beginners who need instructions.

If you are a quilter this book is a MUST HAVE, I just got this last night and have to say that it is probably the best book that I have bought for quilting. This book breaks down the type of block, then offers suggestions for quilting the block.... and has a cross reference to other patterns for that quilt relating to borders, sashing, etc. My one complaint is that the author must receive free Bernina sewing machines as she has a whole chapter dedicated to 2 of their newest machines. I get that they are obligated to pay homage to the company who gives them a machine.. but do it somewhere else.. Other than that, the book is a worthy addition to your quilting library. Also, this is a very new book (I have purchased some that are 10 years or more and some information is no longer relevant.)

Free motioning whole cloth quilt is fairly easy to do BUT this illustrated a more block by block approach. Opened up many great ideas as I want to do more than echo quilt around patches. Inspiration to bring emphasis to the design rather than using one design only. It was easy to see shapes and decide which quilting enhancement to use.

By far the best free-motion book I own! The visuals are so detailed! I really like the way it shows multiples of a one three block runner and the many ways to bring together a theme while keeping it so simple! This is my new favorite book! Can't wait to sew-along with this gem! Thank You Amanda!

Awesome book! Shows each design step by step and then how to integrate other designs into it. As a beginner, this is just what I needed. They show you typical block examples and then how to quilt it in. I recommend this book to everyone!

I have a lot of quilting design books but what sets this apart for me is that it shows multiple design combinations for different blocks. I don't think the designs themselves are new but I like the combo concept for spurring my creativity. Also it has spiral binding and small enough to keep right beside you when quilting

This book gives great instructions on how to quilt different designs . It is spiral bound so it will lay flat as I use it to refer to as I quilt.

Excellent well laid out book. Nicely ring wire bound so opens flat and stays flat. It is not too wide so could be put near a domestic or the end of a Longarm. Very good progressive illustrations helping the user see how to develop and build up a design. A good book for anyone looking for a structured guide and seeking to learn Amanda's method for building up designs from simple to complex enabling them to have a straightforward system to develop their own designs.

livre en anglais à reliure spirales mais le quilting étant du dessin, c'est sans importance! à partir de blocs traditionnels (bloc en croix, carré dans un carré, assiettes de dresde, étoiles à 8 pointes, vols d'oies, kaléidoscopes, log cabin et autres - cependant, sans les hexagones), l'auteur présente des idées de quilting. elle présente également des idées de remplissage de fond de tissu, quelques idées de bordures et de motifs individuels. elle indique les étapes de construction du motif mais cependant, petit bémol, sans indiquer la progression par des flèches, comme le fait , par exemple, Angela Walters, pour ceux qui la connaissent. point positif, elle propose d'associer tel motif à tel autre dans ce qu'elle appelle des "coordinating families". je ne regrette pas cette acquisition.
