Got this to give a wind break for my neck. Works as expected. This fall I found that I was driving directly into a setting sun making it almost impossible to see. I covered the shield with a bandana and used it as a sun visor. What a beautiful solution for that problem.

I would have rated at five stars except for two reasons. There are no instructions on mounting the unit included with it. You have to figure out how to install and adjust yourself. They need to include a caveat to not overtighten the mounting allen screws. You just need to make sure it is snug, or else you risk damaging your windshield. The second reason is that it could be somewhat wider than it is. I have used it on several rides and it does keep my head from jumping around. Also, it is clear and without distortion so that is a plus. I replaced another type of extension because the material was so distorting it was difficult to see and recognize signs and hazards, especially at highway speed. It has stayed in place without needing any adjustment. While having the hardware in the center of vision is a little distracting, you do get used to it.

While it’s a bit clunky to look through while riding, it made a significant noise difference for me on my 2010 BMW 1200GSA. More testing will have to occur to be sure of this, but for the short ride I just completed it was mind blowing.
