Incredible and Unique Walking Stick
I own a variety of canes and walking sticks. Included are 3 different walking sticks from Ireland made from Blackthorn. What is important to me is quality, strength, sturdiness, thickness and length. But an added factor is uniqueness. Well, this particular walking stick/cane checks all the right boxes for me and it’s unique in that it does not look like a medical device! I followed the guidelines so I ordered the right length for 6’. This cane is perfect. This cane has a 90 degree bend at the top which is important to me for as a great hand hold for balance. Each of these canes are unique and one of a kind.. it’s luck of the draw in that this item can not be specified in the order regarding to thickness or the angle for the top. Some websites that offer similar canes do have these options, but they can be more pricey and they give you the ability to order specific wood options. Either way, I am very happy to what I received!

Very nice canes.
I got two of these; the knob root hardwood 1 and the knob root hardwood 2. The 2 is more comfortable and infinitely straighter than the 1 but the 1 is also nice. About 4 inches from the ground, the 1 has a disturbing bow in the wood, but it seems to be sturdy enough that it won't make any difference. Pleased with both.

A Beautiful Piece of Work
I never expected that this item would be so exceptional for what it cost. I trimmed it down about 1.25 inches for my height. It's a very nice piece of work. I can't praise it more than that.

Comfortable Cane, Strong & Light Weight
Nice sturdy light weight one piece wood cane. Easy to shorten for appropriate length. The handle is a comfortable size & angle. What was slightly disappointing is the handle angle. When you need to hang it on a counter at a store, it doesn't just hang there. It promptly responses to gravity. It requires an attachment to hook the counter. I don't like placing the canes foot on the counter as it has literally touched everything I have walked through! Excellent price! Made in USA from wood grown in the USA.

Makes a statement???
I was worried when I ordered my cane because of a lot of folks that got canes that had big problems. I'm happy to say that the one I received is just great. I already have a family heirloom free-form cane made by my Father-in-law from a tree-trim Mulberry stick from the one in the front yard of our old place. It has great sentimental value to me. Now he's been gone for years, but his cane remains, & now as an 83 yr. stroke victim, I rely on a cane all the time. I've never been conventional, so the free-form cane is a natural. This Brazos cane is a beautiful work of art. Crafted by hand by a person who was thinking. Of course, yours will be different, but mine is slender, very strong, but very light. Tiny branch roots have been cut off & each area blended & smoothed, creating beautiful color variations. The handle on mine is very comfortable to grip. It's not quite like the picture, instead, being a little more like a large bird's beak. There's enough point to my handle that it "could" be lethal if swung hard at a predator's head. I'm a peaceful person, so that won't happen. All things considered, I'm very happy with my cane. "IF" something ever happened to it, I'll get another. As received, the 37" cane was just a little too long for me. But it was a very simple matter to pull off the rubber tip, cut off 2 ", & bump the tip back on. I used a hack saw & I could tell that this is very tough wood.

Unique rustic cane that's strong, unique, comfortable
My husband had an injury a couple months ago. His physical therapist recommended a cane to help with his balance and stability. I wanted to get him something unique and rustic, and this cane was perfect for that! It looks like it had a snake head! It was just a tad too long, but it was easy enough to saw 1-1/2 off the end. His therapist recommended get a quad foot rubber base for it, and I found that the supregear Cane Tip Heavy Duty - Self Standing Non-Slip Rubber Quad Base for Walking Cane with 1" opening works great with this cane. This cane is very solid, yet light in weight. I highly recommend it!

Holy thickness Batman!
This is a beast of a cane. 3" round and HEAVY. I'm happy I have arm strength to use it. If anyone tries to mess with me I can use it as a bludgeon, I'll have to go to urgent care from a wrist sprain afterwards since it's so dang heavy! Really wish it was thinner. Had to cut about 2" of the tip so it could fit my height, but then the thickness causes another problem: getting the rubber foot pad to fit again. It is really difficult since it's not the correct size openong to match that of the stick. I would love to give this 5 stars, but I can't. Pros: sturdy, won't break if I swing it at a rhino, or beat back a protester, real solid 1-piece wood. Cons: too heavy. Too thick, almost double size of a normal cane. Not smooth all over. Now I'm off to rest my arm since it's sore from using the cane.

Simple elegant in a rustic sort of way...
...handle is perfect for me so is size I'm 5' 9" tough wood was a bit dusty when it came in easily cleaned slight fissure partway down the stick but keeps in with the rustic issue.. American made can't beat that. Could have used a tie drilled partway down to hang on door or gym equipment for convenience but not a deal breaker. Better than aluminum or steel more character. Reasonable non-slip clear coat on stick. I'm good with this. Attacked with covid and norovirus a number of times so helps with balance (nerve damage) not strength issue as I do gym work. Just gives me an extra amount of security with balance issues.

Disliked? Nothing. Liked? Everything! This distinctive walking stick xceeded my expectations. Perfect length for me (I'm 6'2") with a curved 'handle' that is very comfortable to use. One piece construction with a serious rubber bumper on the bottom gives confidence that it is up to whatever the roadway throws at it. It has resulted in many positive comments from passersby. Highly recommended.

What I received is really quite beautiful, rather sturdy, and very well made, but not entirely functional as a cane. It is really more of a walking stick, as the "handle" does not fit my hand at all well (rather too large for me). It is difficult to hold while handling other objects on occasion, and has no loop to hang on a door knob. There is a small defect on the handle that should have been filled with something during the finishing process, presumably no-one noticed this. I don't want to return it as I am using it now every day (my previous cane broke). Glad I purchased this model but if I had been given a choice of various units by photo or whatever, would likely have chosen I different one. Once upon a time I could have selected a wooden cane in most any drug store in the large city where I live, but today they only have metal ones. That is the world we live in now.
