Works and fit great
Handle would not grip and thought I was going to have to spent $100 plus for a new bathroom faucet set. This piece worked great and solved the problem. The handle is good as new.

Easy inexpensive repair.
Fit perfectly and took just a few seconds to fix my bathtub faucet. I recommend going on the Kohler website and answering the questions about what needs to be repaired and it will bring up the diagram and show you what parts to order. Had I not done that I never would have know the part I needed was called a "spline". Oh yeah, it was way cheaper than calling my plumber!

Big problem solved.
I bought this part because the transfer switch in our bathroom stopped working. Turning the knob simply didn’t do anything. Once I replaced this part, the transfer switch worked and we are now able to switch between the side mounted handsprayer and the overhead shower easily. Problem solved. Update- unfortunately the plastic does not withstand the test of time and wore in just 6 months so I am constantly changing them. I wish they had a model made of better plastic or strong rubber.

A critical part inside this control
During a tub to shower conversion i couldnt connect the control handle to the valve. A little research and I learned i needed this spline adapter. I was glad to find them on Amazon and with quick shipping to get the shower water flowing.

Did not last long
Worked for awhile to fix my handle that won't stop running even when in the off position, after awhile though, had to go back to turning the water supply off to that side because it leaks again constantly. Did not work very long at all and the style handle I can not find to replace the whole thing as I think it was original to my home. (1930s)

Ordered the Kohler splines shipped and sold by Amazon. Image and product information says two splines. When I received the package, the Kohler OEM package only has one spline, not two. It is impossible to get Amazon to send the second spline without buying the item again. Better to buy direct from Kohler, the part is half Amazons price if you only get one, not two splines.
