This is probably the best deal you're going to find on Amazon for a nice vacuum filtration setup. Get a nice pump and that's all you'll need. Comes in a nice box. Quality, Nice and thick glass, and a very nice glass post filter in the unit itself. Nice and straight doesn't look like it was Chinese made.

Was better than expected. Rapid delivery and excellent quality.

The funnel and flask are well made and have no problem making an air-tight connection. My biggest issue is that I can not seem to figure out exactly what size filter paper to order 75mm is slightly too large, and there is not much of a selection for filters between 70 and 74mm. So, I’ll do my best to cut a perfect circle..

the flask is cheap glass with distortions havent used yet but unsure if it will even hold up under vacuum at best its a $5 piece of glass

What is in the unit it's not labeled as g1 or any.

Everything works well, the only thing I have trouble with is I’m not sure which diameter filter papers to get for the Büchner funnel

the picture says 8cm, but its not close to that inner diameter . i had to order 90mm filters and cut them... because no one makes a 72mm filter paper disc - of course, you buy the cheapest product in a category and you get what you pay for... 2 stars because its usable and at the very least functions as a vacuum assisted glass frit filter (the frit says g3, so somewhere around 20-40micron i think - not good enough for microbial filtration but good enough for other things, etc

Works well but I ordered 94mm membrane filters as it showed that others ordered them with it but they are WAY to big for the filter funnel. What is the correct size membrane filter that fits in the filter funnel that I need to order so I can filter oils??
