Approaching a year with this stool and I am beyond impressed with how well it has held up. Still looks as good as new after daily use despite some very slight discoloration in one area due to shampoo bottle overrun (I recommend wiping off any extra soap that may have fallen onto it from the bottles after use. Generic suds and bubbles are not a problem). Does not rock or squeak.

I saw this bench at a friend’s house and knew that it was is exactly what I needed in my home. I had recently remodeled the bathroom and regretted not having a bench to sit on. Especially important as one ages. So I immediately ordered it and received it on time and it is not only functional but beautiful. I am very happy that I did so.

We recently had the tub in our master bath converted to a walk-in shower and opted to buy a stand-alone seat rather than have one built into the shower unit. We're so glad we did and are very pleased with this very sturdy and beautiful shower stool we purchased about two weeks ago. For anyone who has ever been injured and had to be careful in the shower, you know that sitting against a wall is not the best position to get cleaned up, so having a stool that can be moved to a position that is comfortable is convenient. Plus it's great for cleaning feet and shaving legs and, down the road if need be, we can easily replace it.

Our teak shower bench is very well constructed and very stable. It has outstanding functionality while adding grace to our shower. We particularly like that the bench is finished to resist water stains, providing more long-lasting good looks.

I didn’t purchase this to use in the shower. I got it to have a bench seat in the bathroom to sit on. The bench arrived very well packaged to prevent damage. The seat of the bench is beautiful, but when I got all the wrapping off, I noticed three spots on the seat that had small minor chips. This could not have happened during shipping, as the seat had been very well covered up. This had to be a manufacturing defect that happened at the factory. Poor quality control; for the price paid, I did not expect any damage, even minor, and was disappointed. These little chips were right on top of the seat and they really bothered me. I considered returning it for an exchange, but it seemed like a lot of trouble to re-wrap and pack up. And I was concerned about exchanging…what if the replacement was worse than this one? So instead, I found a wood touch up marker and was able to fill in the offending chips so it’s not noticeable. I had been scared to try doing that…because what if I made it look worse? But it came out pretty good and it isn’t noticeable anymore. Whew! However, I should not have had to do this after spending $189 plus tax. I took off one star because of the damage. I love everything else about the bench. It is sturdy, very attractive, and comfortable to sit on. I love the pattern of the slats on the seat. It is nicer and much different than any other bench I have seen. The small shelf underneath the seat is a nice bonus too. The colors of the wood are beautiful and match quite nicely with my bathroom cabinets. I do really love it. Just didn’t love that I had to deal with some damage.
