This product is great, you put the tablet inside where the guides are and then close the lid. This makes it cut the tablet in half or quarters. You need to check it's safe to cut the tablet up first though as some are not suitable for this. It works really well and means you can swallow the smaller pieces easily. I would definitely recommend. Very cheap, delivery quick.

These are the first two 1mg pills I tried and they very easily split into equal halves. Take time to position the pill centrally which is not difficult and then just squeeze the lever and with little effort you have 2 pretty equal halves.

It does what it’s meant to but very hard when the tabs are small but it cuts fine and better than I can do with a knife

I also press it quickly and firmly but every time I get a slightly smaller piece on the left side.To make sure it was not user error I got somebody else to try it. They got exactly the same result.This shouldn't be a problem if it is not critical that you get an even dose of whatever is in your pills, but for my particular medicine it is important I get accurate doses so I am going to have to get another cutter.I suppose you get what you pay for.

The item was as expected

This is well designed and comes with a brush to clean out any fine crumbs and dust. One section snapped off but it can snap back in so I’m not bothered. You don’t have to transfer the half tabs into a separate container but can store quite a few inside the cutter itself.
