small light weight and easy to use. even if youre not a kid this is super fun and cute. easy warp and use. this so clearly a great way to get a feel for whether or not youll like weaving, but if you do its gonna be so much fun!

This loom is just right for small quick projects to work on while sitting on the couch or in an armchair. I love that it has a rotating heddle bar and even allows adjusting the tensioning of the warp thread with screws. I have a bigger 20”x20” loom but that one is too large for working on my lap, whereas this one is great. While it is neat that it came pre-warped for beginners, however, I prefer using my own warp thread and weft yarn so my first step was to replace that, which was quite fast. This loom is just as described and exactly what I wanted.

I found this item pretty easy to get setup, if you are not familiar with weaving using a heedle, definitely look that up and watch a few YouTube videos, as the instructions sent aren’t detailed enough in pictures, that is if you are brand new to weaving. I am pleased with how smoothly it works, and I appreciate the extra yarn sent, and the practice work that was sent already on the loom as well! So far I am having fun and finding a good rhythm.

I’m genuinely unsure if this came new or used with a started project on it. No instructions, maybe it’s supposed to come with a few completed rows to help you figure it out? Seems decent quality and easy to figure out. Comes with small skein of acrylic yard plus the project already on the loom.

Really 2.5 stars, I guess. It had all the parts, delivered more or less in the condition promised. It is not for making a quality, traditional weave. If you buy it, I suggest using it as a weaving frame, not using the heddle device intended to change the pick (lift and lower alternate warp threads. Instead, use a weaving needle and simply weave under and over alternate threads. As for this being for a child of 6 years old, I don't think so.

I bought two of these for a class I taught about tapestries and weaving. I just wanted an inexpensive example of a loom to show the kids and this did work for that. I wove a section about 4 or 5 inches worth and it was okay, but it's very easy to get the threads misaligned and it was hard for the kids to use. I had to reset it several times when letting the children try it out. It served my purposes fine, but I would not buy this for actually creating woven pieces.

Standard lap loom. Many are saying it is used, but that's not the case. A few rows are already woven to show how to use it. Screws on the sides are easy to unscrew for easy removal of the project. Pretty sturdy comb, 2 shuttles, and bar to elevate the weft. A small skein of yarn was included, as well as the yarn on the loom. If you need instructions, I recommend YouTube or Pinterest.

Item arrived twice with unsealed, previously opened boxes and missing coils, so I had to return it twice. Very disappointing. I intended it as a gift for someone. I included that in my return reasons both times and now my refund is delayed. I wouldn’t recommend this product.
