NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss, Non-Sticky Lip Gloss - Devil's Food Cake (Deep Plum)

This is in my rotation as I continue my endless hunt for that just slightly better than your natural lip color with gloss and also natural looking and let’s not forget affordable!! Swatches on my hand in August (Im fair and tan easily with sunscreen!!) of some of my favorites in no particular ranking, just order of swatch. #4 is this lovely NYC gem! I think I have 4 tubes because they’re in my daily handbag, vanity, and travel bags. True to its billing: ~ not sticky ~ high shine ~ fabulous true to tube color ~ smooth application ~ fabulous price and clip the coupon! ~ light soft maybe vanilla scent that doesn’t linger.

It's smooth. Buttery. Smells nice. Yall if this is a plumping gloss I didn't read the description. I already have thick lips but I did feel a slight harmless tingling. Great for your buck. Super shiny. Feels great

The color in my photo is salty coco. It’s hard to pick colors online. I now have 5 different colors from this line and this is my favorite. My lips get so dry the crack, but since I’ve been using these butter gloss lip glosses, they don’t chap. They don’t have a lot of staying power with the color, but my lips feel hydrated longer. My skin is on the lighter side of “medium” and this color looks good. It will also work well on fair skin and darker skin. It’s a natural color and not garish. I bought 2 colors in one order so it may say this is a review for a different color. Trust me, it’s salty coco in the photo of my lips.

This is a gorgeous, affordable balm. It needs reapplication after eating/drinking, but otherwise lasts long for a balm and feels luscious on the lips. I continue to buy it because there is no other product that comes so close to--or flatters my natural lip color so well! I loook awful in red, most pinks, and especially coral lip shades. My lips are a pinkish-purple and Marshmallow is the perfect shade! (I took off one star because I wish it were more moisturizing; it's not terribly drying but I use Aveeno beneath it. )

Love me some butter gloss. Was very bad to choose which shades I’d like because there is ALOT of options but I love the ones I got. Very moisturizing, great colors and pigment, lasts long and just great

I love this gloss! It goes on smooth, feels comfortable on my lips, and gives a pretty shine without feeling too heavy or sticky.

I thought the shade was a nice red as advertised but instead it’s a deep pinkish red. I was expecting like a bright cherry red or some kind of vampy red. Nothing like the photo but still kinda cute. It’s not sticky and it’s hydrating. It does transfer. Lip applicator is soft and easy to use.

These NYX lip glosses are the best! They have beautiful colors and wonderful moisturizers, and they last for a long time on my lips! I always buy different colors and found the shimmer shine lip gloss and it was amazing! After I used it, I bought another shimmer shiny color! I'll always buy these!!

Love it! But works better as a lipstain. Putting too much ruins the consistency (it gets uneven? Even on chocolate skin) but as a stainer and moisture is really good! I'd purchase again!
